The Midoriya Residences always had a mystery etched into the walls of the building.
After Inko and Hisashi Midoriya died in an unexplained accident when Izuku was just 10, he was thrusted on to the role to become Duke and continue the work his father had left behind. It was well known that Izuku was different from his father; he opened the doors of the manor for everyone to enter and worked tirelessly to improve the conditions of the nearby town, while not forgetting the success of their business remained.
Because of his youth and status, he was an easy target for enemies to attempt to strike.
His butler, Bakugou Katsuki, however, makes sure that nothing bad ever happens to his young master.

Properly startled, Katsuki fires a decently-sized explosion that briefly illuminates his room, and he’s able to make out a long, dark entity stretching from underneath his door, across his floor, and up his bed. Panic begins to rouse in his gut as the thing tightens its hold. He fires off another explosion with a little more firepower, but it doesn’t even flinch. In fact, it begins to pulse. Staccato and green.
Oh, he realizes. It’s just Blackwhip.

Months after the War, Blackwhip starts seeking out Katsuki in the middle of the night. Izuku has no idea. Katsuki has no plans to tell him.
