Summary
Despite the presence of a familiar threat, the fight between J and the two worker drones proved to be lackluster. Now, J was standing idly by her own spaceship, with nothing better to do.
Come to think of it, it has been a while since she heard anything back from her boss. J finds a growing sense of worry in herself that she can't describe nor understand.
Did they stop Cyn? Is the squad okay?But maybe, things might not be so bad; someone's proven themselves to still be alive, at least! However, they do not look to be in a good condition at all. What makes it worse is what exactly they have to tell her. The news they deliver to J are the worst possible news they could've brought to the table.

Every year, a brawl happens amongst the disassembly drones where they fight each other. It's mostly an event held amongst themselves for the fun of it.
Uzi hears about these brawls, and expresses interest. The idea of them just trying to fuck each other up just sounds so fun! V, who is determined to win for the first time in years, isn't super keen on letting her participate. What could really happen to her, anyway?Strange notification sounds are the reason why V's day goes a lot differently than she expected it to go.

Summary
A lot of things can happen in a single night with no chance to slow down. Just when it finally grinds the breaks and slows itself down, it will relish in the anguish felt by anyone in a general vicinity. Serial Designation Theta, upon witnessing undoubtedly the worst event to ever occur in her life, has resorted to total isolation. She refused to even visit so that she can talk to Keln after leaving the outpost for good.
Several days go by, and she can barely keep up with herself. Everything around her collapses as a sense of dread looms over her exactly like she would a regular worker drone. The more she tries to slow down, the more that she silently drowns in deep, unfiltered sorrow.
Maybe she was tired, maybe she was lost, maybe she was trapped, but one thing was for certain no matter what.
She really, really wanted to see them again.Series

J had just barely gotten out of the scuffle without her core missing again. It was quite a close fight, even though it was her - the best(!) - against two stupid toasters that decided to pick a fight. She managed it herself.
However, now, with two worker drones that lay in the snow in front of her, and no messages about anything being given to her, she begins to think about things. Things related to whether or not their mission to stop Cyn was successful. Things related to if her squad and the others are okay. Sure, one of them seems to be alive, but they deliver news that she really doesn't want to hear.
