doyoung’s a little odd (jaehyun wants to say witchcraft, but he can’t prove it just yet). jaehyun’s never met anyone like him, and strangely, that makes jaehyun want him more.
e.g.
he turns to look at doyoung who is bent down now, his fingers gently hovering over some squished flowers.
"oh, people have stepped on them," jaehyun frowns, "that's so sad." doyoung seems lost in thought, so jaehyun stands up and brushes himself off. he jumps back a little when Doyoung stands up too. there's a flower in his hand. it's untouched, pristine almost, and jaehyun's never really seen a flower quite like this. "for you," doyoung hands him the flower, "i made- found it for you."

doyoung remembers it so clearly, whispering the words “i like you so much” on their sixth month anniversary into jaehyun’s lips, and jaehyun had pressed himself further into doyoung’s chest and grinned, “i like you too. words can’t describe it,” and he wonders if jaehyun had meant love. had he felt love then?
like doyoung does now, a year and a half into their relationship? like doyoung did then?
