Summary
Tony had only ever had one nightmare about his Ironman suit turning against him. Even then it had technically been his father in the suit, not the suit itself. Talking down to him. Ridiculing him. Telling him he wasn’t worthy of even wearing it. Fairly typical as far as nightmares go for someone with daddy issues. So when he heard his Mark 47 suit power up on its own behind him in the garage late one afternoon, there was a split second in which he assumed he was simply having another odd insecurity-fueled dream.

Someone hacks into and gains control of one of Tony's suits, and for the first time he regrets putting a tracker in Peter's suit.

Summary
There are lots of things in the world that Peter Parker knows how to do.
He knows how to make May smile when they’re behind on bills and she’s stressed beyond belief.
He knows how to code an entire AI system from the ground up.
He knows how to get Tony to sleep after workshop binges that last days, exactly which movie and which position curled up on the couch will make the process as quick as possible.
This is just another one of those things
Peter knows what to do. He’s done this before.
He closes his eyes. Wishes he was somewhere else. Waits for it to be over.

“It’s nothing, Gil. Goodnight.”
JT fumbles with his coat, tries to pretend he wasn’t just listening in, but if Malcolm knows he doesn’t mention it. He just gives JT a little wave, and tells him goodnight, too, taking out his phone and tapping away on it as he nudges his way out the door into the night.
Gil sighs, standing in the doorway, bracing himself against the frame. He’s never looked his age, but now he looks so, so much older.
“He’s not okay, is he?” JT asks, after a moment, and Gil doesn’t respond. Doesn’t have to.
It wasn’t nothing.
Whatever happened, it wasn’t nothing.
