Summary
"I've never heard you beg, Doe," Riko muses.
“And you won't," Three cuts in. "Why should he? You've missed scoring plenty more goals than he's missed saving."
Andrew misses a goal. The reason — and the consequences — are one and the same. If only Neil could work that out.

Summary
Andrew stares blankly down at Neil’s bare fourth finger. Then he looks up at Neil’s scarred face, his deep blue eyes that stand out even against the summer horizon of this godforsaken city, and he wonders yet again if he knows about the ring tucked away in the bottom drawer of the double vanity.
One more surprise, Abram. I think I want to marry you.
Andrew buys a ring. It takes a while before he makes any use of it.

Summary
The smile splitting Neil’s face in two is a soft thing, gentle and wonderful and the most genuine the expression has ever felt settled into his mouth. “I think you like putting up with me”
“Shut up”
“Make me,” Neil tells him.
“Marry me,” Andrew replies.

Aaron flicked his fingers dismissively. “No, Andrew’s an artiste,” he said. “He creates art for the sake of art.” He lifted his eyebrows and looked to Andrew. “No?”
“Of course,” Andrew drawled. “It’s about the process. ‘I saw the angel in the marble and I carved until I set him free.’ Macklemore said that.”
