What a wonderful retelling from all of my favourite dwarves! Each one is elegantly written with so much care and a true study of their character. The subtle romance slowly growing in the background warmed my heart and the final perspective from Thorin is worth the wait.

The Registration Act 619 had been a necessity – mutants had to be registered and examined by a federal board, and if found potentially dangerous for humans, tested.
Hanzo had no idea what happened to those who didn’t pass the test, but Goldberg concern with some citizens disappearing after the procedure made his sixth sense tickle in the wrong way.
Genji was another story. Of course, no one would have publicly held his existence against their father, but there would have been rumors. Gossips, cracks in the foundations of the empire Sojiro Shimada and his father before him had built in the years.A mutant son was a dishonor that would have destroyed the good name of the family.

Fantastic fantastic read!!!! Wowowow! Extraordinairy world building, ever chapter is deep and expansive. The characters growth is a slow true thing to witness and see from every perspective. Such a fantastic AU made into a truly unique story.

Best of all the soulmate McHanzos, hands down!!
Wow what a great and deep story. I didn't know how much I would enjoy a long form story of young Hanzo/Blackwatch McCree, but this story is so compelling and done so well. Character studies done impeccably. And holy cow the angst.
