Summary
Shintarou could only watch as the blood pooled on the floor, the individual whose gentleness used to keep him close— the only one who could— was dead.
Shintarou could only stand, as if the world stopped before him. His ears rang, The cheers from the crowd went to deaf ears as his breath began to quicken. The man whose silence brought comfort, now bringing a sense of dread within him.
Leon was dead.
And it was because of him.
Shintarou glanced towards the backstage, where humans are kept before their turn on the stage. From the corner of his eye, he sees a familiar red haired boy around his age, crying. Kept in shackles, and a collar connected to a wire, the boy shook and struggled attempting to break free and as if wanting to run wake up Leon himself.
