Summary
Jared doesn’t want much from life. A spaceship with a good crew and the vastness of the universe just an engine push away. He has no interest in politics. But when he and his crew go on the hunt for a rare artefact, he’s violently ripped out of his life and plunged straight into a bloody conflict.
One hundred and forty years in the future, the world is going up in flames and resistance captain Jensen Ackles’ only goal in life is the destruction of the totalitarian Empire. But the resistance is struggling and Jensen knows time is running out.
When Jared and Jensen meet, they’re united by their need to go back in time, albeit for different reasons. Torn between Jared’s desire to save his crew and Jensen’s quest for the destruction of the Empire, they have to find common ground — and figure out what exactly is worth fighting for.
