   Summary

   George trembled and it hurt Jim more than any wound he had ever received himself. How funny that his son's pain gutted him more deeply than anything else he'd ever experienced. He supposed it was a part of parenthood – of being a parent that gave a damn. He carefully tried to ignore his own less than stellar childhood. He liked to think he had done right by his son – and would continue to do so.
