   Summary

   After the breaking of the barrier, Frisk and Chara's relationship utterly collapsed as the two attempted to return to a normal life, even attempting to return to school. Chara, unable to face the truth, disappeared without a word to Frisk for nine years, only telling her family that she had joined the military expedition to free monsters from oppression in other kingdoms.

   When Chara returns home, her family pushes her to finally remedy her relationship with Frisk. Frisk, upon finding out about Chara's return home, is deathly afraid of losing Chara again, and she plans to take back everything that the past nine years had stolen from her.
