Just because they were partners didn't mean their words were laced with truth. Dazai had been force-fed lies and threats since the day Mori's scalpel cut into skin that didn't belong to the enemy.
Since then, they'd been quiet, as if roses grew where their vocal cords once were. Chuuya was loud as ever, though. He urged and pleaded for Dazai's words and secrets. He wanted his trust and, if it meant snatching it from his hands through sultry whispers and pleas and threats and moans, then he'd do it in a heartbeat. He'd do it all just to have Dazai around his finger again.
