   Summary

   Thorin once had a beautiful wife, who gave him a son more precious than any gem in the horde of Erabor. His small family had made even the pain of loosing their ancestral home a distant memory. There was never a time in his life that he was as happy as he was with them. But Thorin should have known that joy such as this couldn’t last. Not for him.
