In the 1940s, everything seemed clear to Stephanie Rogers. She'd do her duty, win the war, maybe settle down with Howard somewhere nice. But now all that is long gone, Howard is gone, and all that's left is his son and his granddaughter. It's much harder to leave the past behind when you're constantly being reminded of it.
