    “You finally get to return to your real people, Blue Paladin. You no longer have to run around with those…scumbags? Is that a term they use on Earth to describe the lowest filth they can think of?”

    Recognition seemed to dawn on the Blue Paladin’s face.

    “Oh! Right—well, I’m…not quite finished with my mission,” the Paladin said, returning his bayard to his side. He bent down and yanked up the Red Paladin, “I, uh—have to get rid of him myself, you know? Make sure he’s really dead and all that. Put him somewhere where no one will find him and be able to revive him.”
