Jimin will never forget the night his best friend came to him, yelling incomprehensible words and crying. Yoongi wasn't someone who cried openly which was why the sight of him doing so worried Jimin and filled him with dread. The younger had barely been able to get the older boy to tell what had happened but once he had, Jimin told the other boy that he'd stay with him and not to go home. Yoongi had listened and had slightly calmed down. And now 2 years had passed since then and now a similar situation is taking place.

"Jimin! Jimin open the door!" A trembling voice yells, jerking Jimin awake. He had worked the late shift last night and was gonna do it again so he was sleeping until then, well until now. Worried, Jimin quickly makes his way to the door, opening it to see Yoongi ready to break down right then and there. The elder falls into the arms of the younger, sobbing. Jimin quickly helps the man inside, closing the door with his foot, before carrying the both of them to the couch he'd just been sleeping on.
Neither of them say anything as Jimin consoles Yoongi to the best of his capabilities. Just like he had 2 years.
"What happened hyung?" Jimin asks, once Yoongi is calm enough to make comprehensible sentences.
"T-The therapist- He touched me!" The elder outbursts, becoming upset again until Jimin puts a hand to his cheek, rubbing away new tears.
"Calm down. He can't get to you here." Yoongi nods, falling silent as the younger wipes away any new tears that fell.
"I-I don't wanna go back."
"You don't have to, hyung. Don't worry." Jimin says lowly, giving his hyung a smile. No matter how much it hurt him to see the man he loves like this, he has to be strong and dependable for him.
Jimin grabs ahold of Yoongi's waist, pulling him on top of him as he lies back on the couch. Yoongi's head rests on Jimin's chest, his lower body rest between the younger's legs. Jimin cards his fingers through Yoongi's hair, the gentle gesture and the slow rise and fall of his chest lulls the elder to sleep.
"I'll make sure to protect you from now on, hyung."
