Ever since they’d started dating, this had become something of a routine. Of course that made it no less nerve-wracking, and Teru spent hours agonizing over what to wear every time. But the point still stood.
Nearly every Friday Teru would go straight from school to Mob’s house. They would go get ice cream, or cake, or some other sweet treat. They would eat it together and sometimes play footsie under the table. Teru would pay the bill, always, just because he liked getting his boyfriend nice things. And then they would go back to his apartment, where the real date could begin.
