“Mommy! Mommy, look at my quirk!”
The four year old hopped around the stove, geared in an All Might jumpsuit, laughing excitedly. “Mommy! Look!” he tried desperately to get her attention, but she was horrified, staring at something behind her. “Mommy?” he asked in confusion. Why was his mommy so scared? Why was she holding him so close? Why was she running to the doors so fast? Where was daddy? He was studying in his study room.To find the cause of his mother’s distress, the boy turned around to see bright warm flames flickering at where they were recently standing. The door wasn’t opening, and his mother was screaming for help. The boy realized what was happening too late.
When Midoriya's quirk was revealed at age 4, he burned down his apartment and his family. He was taken in by Todoroki Enji to be used as a punching bag. He was miserable, but he shared that misery with Todoroki Shoto.
