   Summary

   A fix-it fic of sorts. Vaun survives the attack on Palmer, though barely, and is still the authoritative Sun Hunter and voice of the Ancients when Quinlan arrives on the scene. However Quinlan's history with the Sun Hunters is long and difficult, and their reunion is not at all simple or easy.
