Work Text:
Jungkook didn't really know what he was doing here. In this – so called – music shop. Or instrument shop. Or whatever.
Taehyung had given him the address when he had mentioned something about wanting to play guitar (just like Justin Bieber-sunbaenim, but he had left that out for good measure. His friend had already made enough fun of the fact that Jungkook was lowkey crushing on the singer.)
Anyway, he was in town, so why not visit the shop for a bit?
But now he was standing here, kinda awkward, not knowing anything about guitars. Or instruments in general.
What he did know, was that guitars were pretty. Pretty awesome. The shiny instruments were stocked against the walls in colorful rows. Some had really weird and cool shapes, like they belonged to real rock stars.
How expensive would they be? He almost didn't dare to look at the price tags.
“Can I help you, sir?”
Oh shit. He didn't know if he needed any help. Probably he did. But what should he say? Ah-
He turned around to answer the shop assistant.
What he didn't expect was the low voice to belong to someone who looked around his age. Maybe a bit older. But not much. He was shorter though, a good few inches.
The boy raised his eyebrows a bit questioningly at him, making them disappear into his black fringe.
“I said, do you need any help, sir?”
Although he sounded polite, the last word definitely had a sceptical tone. Teasing almost.
“Ah- I, uh- maybe...”
“Okay.” The boy’s look softened a tad. “Let me know when you need help.”
And then he walked towards the back of the shop, going back to what he probably had been doing before their conversation. Sorting vinyl’s and dusting piano's.
After Jungkook had stared a little more at the guitars on the wall, he didn't know what do anymore, so he left. He probably didn't have enough money to buy one anyway.
***
It had been a week or something, when he was in town again to buy some clothes, because all his socks had holes in it and he had spilled soya sauce on his favourite sweatpants.
When he passed the music shop again – his bags full of white shirts he wasn’t going to buy in the first place (but they were in sale!!) – he found himself pushing against the heavy glass door again.
That stupid tingling thing on the ceiling chimed exactly like the last time.
But this time the boy with the black hair wasn't rumbling in the back so he didn't see him at first. This time, he was sitting behind the counter, his chin resting on his hand when he lazily looked up at the sound of the tingle thing.
“Hi again.”, he said, slightly drawling. Maybe he had a bad day. Or maybe he was just tired.
“Hi.”, Jungkook mumbled, quickly looking at the floor. Sometimes he really hated how shy he always was with people he didn't know well.
“Do you already know how I can help you?”
“Uh- uh…”
Shit. Why didn't he think things through? Of course he didn't know what he needed help with. He didn't even know how the fuck he had ended up in this store again.
“The guitars..”, he began, “I like to look at the guitars.”
Well. If that didn't sound stupid-
The boy raised his eyebrows again, his face still resting on his palm.
“Okay. I can understand that. Go ahead.”
Eh- How could he pull such a straight face at him, even after he said something so dumb?
“Okay..”, Jungkook echoed, and he shuffled towards the guitar wall because he didn't have a choice, did he?
The guitars were still pretty.
“This one is an electric one, right?”, Jungkook heard his own voice ask.
What. Why did he say that? Aish, he really had the habit of saying things he shouldn't.
But music shop boy already glanced at him, frowning again.
“Right.”, he replied with his low voice. Soothing almost.
“Oh.” Why was he so clueless? “And this one? That's acoustic, isn't it?”
Jeon. Jungkook. Stop. Fucking. Talking.
Amusement played around the boy's lips. “Yup.”
“Oh.”
“And do you know what that one is?”
The question was directed at him, Jungkook realised a little late (of course, stupid, there was no one else in this place.) The music boy was pointing at a flashy red guitar.
“That's not an electric guitar?” And Jungkook was genuinely confused. Because it sure looked like one.
“Nope.” He really seemed amused. “That's a bass guitar. They have four strings, not six, look.”
“Ooooh…” Jungkook felt so stupid. Getting lectured by a random shop assistant and all. It was even worse when he remembered the said shop assistant basically his age. Ouch.
“You want to buy one?”
Oh crap.
“Uuh, no.. yes- maybe?”
The boy’s eyes were patient and his mouth corners curled up a little.
“Okay. Tell me when you know it.”
“Yes.”, he mumbled back and, fuck, this was awkward.
Silently, he left the store again.
***
“Did you already visit the music shop?”, Taehyung asked from his bed where he was laying upside down, while reading volume 24 of Haikyuu.
Jungkook looked up from volume 25.
“Ah- yes. I did. But I’m not sure why, though…”
“Whaddayamean?
“Oh. Just- every time I’m there, I don't know where to start. There's just so much guitars and I don't have any knowledge about it. Plus, I don't think I have enough money for one, they look really expensive.”
“Oh.” Taehyung’s eyes were back on the manga pages. “Wait- did you just say- every time you're there? How often do you come or something?”
Jungkook wasn't sure why he suddenly felt his cheeks heat up. Like the second time he had visited the store was a secret.
“Only two times…”, he huffed out.
“Oh.”
“There's always a shop assistant” – why was he talking about him? – “who asks me if I need help.”
“Aah. But isn't that what most shop assistants do? I've also experienced that by myself.”, he finished off with a wise flick of his index finger, like they just had discovered something new.
“Yeah.” Jungkook sighed, focussing his eyes again on what Hinata was saying.
“But.”, Taehyung broke the silence again, “What if you use his offer of help? Maybe he knows what the best and cheapest guitar is.”
“Maybe.”
All of a sudden, he didn't feel like wanting to play the guitar anymore.
***
Nevertheless, even after the countless times he had told himself that he didn't care about guitars anymore, he still ended up standing before the door of the music store.
But when he entered the room, the black-haired boy didn't greet him. Because he wasn't there. Instead, a blonde girl with was dusting the keyboards.
Jungkook lowkey panicked and before she could look his way, he had already stumbled out of the shop.
Maybe it was highkey anyway.
He knew that it was stupid, but for some reason, he didn't want someone else to tell him which instruments were the best.
He wanted the boy who he had met twice. The boy with whom he was a little familiar now. The boy with the patient eyes and the soothing voice.
Could it be that he didn't work on Thursdays? It was probably his part-time job. Which day had it been when he had seen him? Shopping days. Saturdays. Right.
***
He felt stupidly relieved when he entered the shop on Saturday and met the boy's gaze, who was sitting behind the counter like before.
“Hi, it's you again.”
“Yeah.”, Jungkook said, a bit breathless.
“Do you already know if you're gonna buy something?” It would've sounded rude if Jungkook didn't know better.
“Yes. Kinda. I want to know which guitar is the best. And the cheapest.”
The boy’s eyebrows disappeared behind his bangs again.
“That's a pretty idealistic combination.”
“I know. But can you show me?”
A small tug on the lips of the boy. A little shimmer in his eyes. Maybe mock. Maybe excitement.
“Well, I can show you the cheapest, if you want to. The quality is still not trash. They're just not as good as the more expensive ones.”, he murmured a bit, but he still managed to sound enthusiastic enough.
“Ah- yes.”, Jungkook stumbled while fixing his beanie.
“Which kind do you want? Acoustic? Electric? Bass…?”
He felt a bit overwhelmed by the questions. He had no clue about the differences or which kind would fit him the most.
“I- uh- I don't know yet.”
More shimmering in the other’s eyes.
“Oh, well. I could show them all, I guess.”
He hopped down from his chair and introduced him to the cheapest guitars, that indeed weren't trash.
“Are you in college or something?”, he asked casually – between a Yamaha Pacifica PA012 and a Epiphone PRO-1 – while quickly side-eyeing him.
“Eh? Why?”
“Oh. Just because you asked for the cheapest one. That's a student thing.”
“Ah. But yes, I’m in college. First year.”
“Fourth year.”, the other said.
What. What. WHAT. He didn't think they had a gap that big. Maybe a year. At most. What the fuck.
“Y- you're a sunbaenim…”, he brought out.
The fourth year (!!!) student chuckled softly, while his cheeks dusted slightly pinkish.
“You seem kinda surprised, heh. Do I look that young?”, he visibly suppressed a pout as his hand was scratching behind his ear. He probably got that a lot. This was so awkward.
“Ye- no, no- uh.”
“It's okay.”
They didn't say a lot after that. The boy just told him more about the different models and brands. It was really fascinating how much he knew about it and Jungkook had to hide his stares sometimes. Because when the boy was talking, his eyes seemed to light up a little, and the black tufts of hair looked so soft, so friendly.
They still lingered in his mind when he came back home and flopped onto his bed after a long day, pulling the sheets over his shoulders.
***
Saturday. The familiar glass door was right before him again. The funny thing was, the more he knew the shop, the more nervous he got before entering it.
Tingling sounds from the ceiling.
The fourth-year-college-student-music-shop-assistant-boy seemed as bored as always, undertowing his chin with his hand. He didn't look surprised at all when he saw who had entered.
“Oh hey, it's the guitar boy.”
“Jungkook.”, Jungkook blurted out. He immediately felt a blush creeping up. This wasn't part of the plan. “I’m Jeon Jungkook.”
The boy did definitely look surprised by now. Almost a bit taken aback at the sudden introduction. Someone shouting his name at you from a sixteen feet distance was kinda weird and awkward indeed.
A beat of silence. The other slowly blinked before he reacted.
“Oh- eh- nice to meet you, Jeon Jungkook.” He cracked a little smile at him from behind the counter. It was a pretty smile. Cuter than Jungkook had expected. “I’m Min Yoongi, then.”
Oh.
Why did it feel so weird, for the nameless boy to suddenly have a name?
Jungkook had slowly grown used to it, the music shop boy who didn't have a name. The possibility of him owning a name hadn't even crossed his mind. But now, here he was, with a name that actually really fitted him.
Min Yoongi. The music shop boy.
“Nice to meet you, Yoongi-sunbaenim.”, Jungkook breathed out.
“Just use hyung.” His tone was almost commanding, but a shy flush embellished Yoongi-hyung(!!)'s face and his eyes weren't directly looking at Jungkook.
He seemed to collect himself rather fast though, his lips curving into a perky smirk.
“And Jungkook, how can I help you today?”
“I was wondering…”, he hesitated for a moment, “I was wondering what kind of guitar- or instrument- thing- would fit me the best.. hyung…”
Yoongi’s grin faded for a moment, but then his eyes were glimmering again with excitement.
“You know, that really depends on the person you ask. I can't decide for you what fits you the most because, well” – a soft sparkle this time, making something flutter inside Jungkook – “I barely know you.”
“Oh.”, the younger replied, because oh.
“But you can tell me what kind of feeling you want to create when making music.” He stared right into Jungkook's eyes and they were dark and deep and full of secrets and Jungkook lowkey panicked because was Yoongi flirting with him? Or was he flirting with Yoongi?
Was there even something flirty happening?? Or were they just talking about guitars?
Jungkook quickly pushed the thought away and coughed a little.
A feeling I want to create...
“I want to play something that moves people…”, he started. He had never really thought about it, but now, the right words were flowing out all at once. “Something soft. And warm. But not dull.”
Yoongi nodded slowly, interested.
“Something I can play while singing to the music.”
“Normally, you play a guitar with your hands, you should be able to sing with them all.”, he said, barely hiding his amused smile.
“Oh. Yeah.”
He was quiet for some seconds when a question popped up in his mind.
“W-what kind of feeling do you want to create, hyung?”
Maybe it was rude to ask a shop assistant something like that. But Yoongi didn't seem to mind.
“The feeling I want to create…” Yoongi's expression changed from playful to something softer. Fond and a tad melancholic. But with a clear passion burning in those shimmerings.
“I want to drown people in my music. To make them drift away from this world. But above all, I make music to set myself free.”
Whoa. He wondered what kind of music he made, if he would drift away from the world if he heard it, what Yoongi meant by setting himself free-
“To be honest, I prefer the piano.”, Yoongi admitted, while scratching the back of his neck. “I mean, I can play those guitars and lots of other instruments in this store, but I like the piano the most.”
Jungkook was dumbfounded. He didn't expect all these sudden plot twists. “W-why?”
“That's kind of personal.”, the older muttered, avoiding Jungkook's gaze.
“Oh! Ah- don't tell then!” But he was already wondering. Wondering if he would ever know.
“Wasn't planning on that either.”, Yoongi deadpanned. “Anyway, I get the feeling you're looking for an acoustic guitar.”
“You think so?”
“Yeah. Electric ones don't have a very warm sound and bass guitars are not that soft…”
“Ah- Maybe I should buy one...”
Yoongi's eyes lingered once again on Jungkook's face, his expression patient and a little teasing at the same time.
“Maybe you should.”
***
This was fucking ridiculous. How the fuck did that Yoongi-hyung manage to make him buy a whole fucking guitar??
Jungkook cringed a bit at how he had fallen so easily for the kind looks and teasing words of the shop assistant.
Maybe all of it were just nasty vendor talks, cheap tricks to sell stuff. The patient eyes. The little cute smile. The soft hair.
Wait- what? Who the fuck grows soft hair to sell guitars?
Probably Jungkook was just bullshitting to himself.
Most probably.
However, that didn't change anything about the fact that he was walking down the streets, broke, confused and with an acoustic guitar on his back of which he had no clue how to use it.
He’d learn it. He’d look up some tutorials on YouTube.
But even when he did that, he still didn't know how to feel about the semi-mocking smiles and the faint blushes.
***
A surprised look appeared on Yoongi's face when he saw Jungkook. Apparently, he hadn't expected him to walk into the store again.
“Jungkook? Hi.”, his eyebrows raised, but his eyes looked glad.
“Hi, hyung.”
A smile played around the older’s lips.
“Do you still need help with something?”
“Yes.” Was Jungkook even breathing at this point? It felt almost impossible to catch up with his breath. He may or may not have held it in for too long. “Do you- also give lessons?”
It was maybe too straight-forward. Too many implications. But it was there anyway, the question floating in the air between them.
Yoongi stared at him for some good seconds.
“N-no.”, he eventually said, a little lisp in his voice. “But- but maybe one of the other shop assistants does. I could ask…”
“No! I mean- you don't need to. I just wanted lessons from you- ah- I mean- eh…”
Yoongi's eyes widened and his cheeks turned light pink. Jungkook immediately felt his face also become hot after he realised his words.
“I just- wondered if you gave lessons. But you don't, so-”
“Not yet.”, Yoongi blurted out and his cheeks flushed into a darker shade of pink.
“So you will, maybe?”
“Maybe… I- I've never done it before but I can think about it.”
“Oh. Okay.”
And he didn't really know what to say to that.
Maybe he would do it.
“Are you satisfied with your purchase, by the way?”
What. Oh yeah. Yoongi was a shop assistant. Jungkook was a client. It kinda irked him for some reason.
“Yeah. I like it a lot. The sound is nice, hyung.”
Yoongi smiled and his eyes became little crescents. “Nice.”
“Yeah.”, he felt himself grinning dumbly.
The silence that fell wasn't uncomfortable but also not unawkward. Jungkook didn't have any good reasons to stay but he also didn't want to leave. After some seconds (or minutes?) of mutual staring, he broke the silence.
“Okay. I see you, sometime, maybe?”
“Yea.”
His hand was already on the doorknob when he heard the low voice again, sounding a bit rushed.
“I can also do it now. If you want to-”
He turned around to meet Yoongi's bashful gaze.
“I mean- not now- but tonight- when I’m free…”
Jungkook's eyes grew big.
“You mean… Guitar lessons?”
“Yes. It's not that far- my apartment is right above here- but only if you want to-”
“Of course, hyung.”, and was stammering because holy shit he was going to see his apartment. “When are you done with work?”
***
It was 06:30 p.m. and Yoongi was rambling about the stairs they were climbing. Jungkook had went all the way to home and back to get his guitar and by the time he had arrived, Yoongi's working hours were over. He had been waiting before the dark store to show him the way to his apartment.
“We’re here.”, he said when they were on the third floor and out of breath (Yoongi some more than Jungkook).
He unlocked the door and switched the light on. His place was simple but cosy.
“I don't have roomies so no one will disturb your racket.”
“Well, that's a relief.”, Jungkook grinned while taking in the new room.
No more furniture and random stuff than needed, but there was a comfortable-looking couch with a TV, and in the corner, he could identify a keyboard from a fancy brand (probably the most expensive thing in the room.)
“Okay, I need to eat first before we start cos I didn't have lunch and those stairs kill me every time. I'll make us some ramen.”
“S-sure, hyung.”
Yoongi disappeared in the small kitchen and Jungkook decided to sit down on the couch, listening to the rummaging of an electric kettle and ramen cups.
“Sorry, it's not that much-”, the older mumbled when he took place on the other side of the table. “But yeah- student things, heh.”
“You don't need to apologize.”, and he was serious about it, because there was no reason to be ashamed of not having a lot of money. “I can relate. And it's normal.” – he was rambling – “And I like ramen.”
Yoongi muffled a little smile into his sweater paw that almost went unnoticed by Jungkook. Almost.
The instant noodles tasted just like the ones Jungkook always made (because they were the same brand, obviously) and he thought he caught Yoongi's lingered glance a few times when he was eating. He probably imagined it.
They talked for a while about music and games and to which universities they were going and Jungkook liked this. Liked how they had freed themselves from the formal circumstances that had been restricting them until some hours ago.
Liked how he felt like he could be more himself, how Yoongi visibly relaxed in his own house, how the atmosphere eased a bit and how they could talk freely about other things than guitars.
"Okay.”, Yoongi announced after he had shoved their empty bowls on the kitchen counter, “Show me what you learned already.”
Jungkook unpacked his guitar, settled himself on the couch and played the first part of ‘Nothing like us’ because that's how far he had come in the past week.
Yoongi's eyes widened slightly. Oh shit. Maybe he was a Justin Bieber hater.
“I don't know if you really need lessons, Jungkook.”
“Wha-”
“That sounded almost perfect.”
Oh.
“But- you know-”, Yoongi let his gaze wander over the floor, the guitar, Jungkook's hands on the strings, “It’s almost perfect so I need to teach you anyway, I guess…”
Jungkook smiled sheepishly. “I guess.”
Yoongi ended up sitting next to him on the cramped but comfortable couch and Jungkook's heartbeat was a mess. He furiously hoped that the older wouldn't notice it, but he was so close, he could easily have felt it.
“So for this chord, you have to put your fingers like this.” Yoongi's voice was soft and his lips shaped into a pout while his fingers were patiently peeling Jungkook's trembling ones of the fretboard to place them on the right strings. Every touch left a burning feeling on his skin.
“Oh- oh-kay, hyung.”, he gasped a little, tried to maintain his heartbeat, the coiling heat in his stomach.
The other paused for a second. “You're shaking.” The words left Yoongi's mouth and their warmth was brushing Jungkook's neck. He felt his cheeks aggressively turn red. “Do you need a blanket or something? Sorry, I don't put the heater very high because of my budget.”
“N-no, I’m fine. I don't need-”
His voice died away lamely and Yoongi frowned at him. “Alright then.”
And then his face was so close again and their shoulders were touching and his hands were on his and Jungkook was so aware of everything – of every touch, every brush of skin – that he was scared he would go crazy, do weird things, say weird things.
He was almost relieved when they called it a day after an hour and Yoongi was babbling with him in the door opening. But at the same time, he wanted to stay, wanted to learn more, wanted to talk to him more, wanted to feel him more, wanted to know him more.
“I see you next week then?”, Yoongi asked him tentatively, hope seeping through.
“Yes.” The reply was fast and eager. Jungkook had definitely ran out of breath a long time ago anyway.
The older chuckled softly with a hint of shyness in his deep voice. It was cute. He was cute. He was cute when he was chuckling and he was cute when he didn't. It was cute how he was a little shorter than Jungkook, looking small and sweet, but still being older and witty as fuck
“I’m going then…”, Jungkook said, before he could do anything weird, before he couldn't suppress the urge to touch him.
“You go. Get home safe, Jungkook-ah.”
“Yes, hyung.”, he grinned and the other returned his smile.
“Til Saturday.”
It was only when Jungkook was already standing in the pouring rain at the bus stop, that he realised what time it was. The busses didn't go anymore. Fuck. What now? His home was too far away to walk, and on top of that, it was raining.
“Jungkook-ah?”
Yoongi looked at him with wide eyes when he opened the door for a dripping wet Jungkook.
“H-hi, my busses don't go anymore a-and it started to rain so I thought- maybe I could stay here until it's over? So I can walk home later…”
“Wait- come inside first, talk then.”
And Yoongi lightly tugged onto his sleeve, pulling him inside the warmth.
Jungkook got the couch, a blanket and a towel.
“You want some coffee? To warm you up a little.”
“N-no thanks, I don't like coffee.”
Jungkook was still shivering, although he wasn't entirely sure any more about the exact reason.
“Hyung, you don't have hot chocolate or something? That’s what you drink in this kind of situations.” And he was lowkey offended because who the fuck offers coffee to someone who just got shitted on by the rain??
“What- really?”, Yoongi didn't look like he was going to care. He threw another blanket at Jungkook, because he wouldn't stop shaking (if he only knew why). “Anyway, I don't have chocolate milk. Or milk. Cos I don't like it and I drink my coffee black.”
“What? You don't have milk?? Hyung, that's an atrocity.” And it was outrageous indeed, but Jungkook still smiled because Yoongi doesn't like milk and he only drinks his coffee black. Note that. Wait- what.
“No, I don't have milk. But are you gonna drink coffee or not?”
“No. I don't like coffee. And especially not without milk.”
“You're fucking stubborn.” And Yoongi made him coffee anyway (with milk powder that he apparently had floating around somewhere in his cupboard anyway).
“You know-”, Yoongi hesitated a bit while he sat down on the coffee table and took a sip of his own cup of americano, “You- you can also stay here if you want… I mean- the rain is not gonna stop for a while and tomorrow you can take a bus back home- if you don't have any other plans, of course.. You- we could just watch Netflix or something… if you want to-”
Jungkook's heartbeat skipped for a moment.
“Ah- no- Thank you, I would like to! If I won't be a burden…”
“No! I mean- you're not a burden- I like your company.”
Yoongi quickly flushed after he realised what he had said, but Jungkook was too busy to mind. He had to control his own shit.
They ended up binge-watching Netflix series and it was 3 a.m. already when Yoongi turned the TV off, because they were talking more than actually watching the show and he wanted to concentrate on one thing.
“Kook-ah.”
Yoongi's speech sure had become more informal and his head was resting on Jungkook shoulder, like it was the most normal thing in the world. Maybe it was because of how sleepy he was. Or maybe because they simply had become closer during their long chats.
“Hm?”
“Can you sing something? I was wondering what your voice sounds like.”
Jungkook turned red immediately.
“Ah- eh- I don't know, hyung, I don't sing that good.”
“I don't care. I still want to hear it.” Yoongi’s stubborn face faintly dusted pink and it was endearing. Jungkook's heart ached a little because he was so close, yet not close enough.
“O- okay, well then. But don't expect too much…”
“I won’t.”, a smug grin painted the older’s face and Jungkook shoved at him (“Yah, hyung!”), but grabbed his guitar started playing the intro of 'Nothing like us’ anyway.
He was quite nervous and his voice was shaking a bit in the beginning. His breathy notes filled the air, lingering in the little space between them.
In his peripheral he could see Yoongi close his eyes and although he needed to concentrate on his chords and had to maintain his voice, he still wondered how long those eyelashes were, how soft they were, if they looked like this when their owner was asleep.
“Your voice is really beautiful, Jungkook-ah”, Yoongi whispered when the song was over. Jungkook could feel the warm breath hitting his cheeks and his insides stirred because close close close.
“Y-yeah?”, he got flustered at the compliment.
“Yeah.”, he repeated, clearer this time, but still soft, like no one else should hear them, like even when they were the only human beings in his apartment in the early morning, he still had to whisper, because it was so precious.
Yoongi stared into his eyes, deep and shamelessly long. Dark eyes that were shimmering, full of secrets he wanted to unlock. Maybe he could find out one, sneak away just one, if he just- reached closer, further, more.
Jungkook's thoughts drifted away before he could tell himself to stop, to not do something weird. His hand was already running over Yoongi's shoulder, to his neck, touching the tingling skin of his cheek.
And he was doing weird things and he should stop before it was too late, stop before he ruined something and maybe he should ask. Ask if it was okay.
“Can I…?” His breath hitched in his throat, his voice sounding hushed and timid.
He felt the long fingers of Yoongi wander over his nape, squeezing gently, while he moved closer, his eyes fluttering shut.
The answer came more like a soft whisper, the words lightly tickling his ears.
“Yeah, of course.”
Just one secret.
Their noses brushed for a second before Jungkook shifted tentatively, feeling the soft lips on his, plush and sweet, and Jungkook’s heart was going to explode. He slightly opened his mouth to savour more, swallowing the sigh that left Yoongi's.
Yoongi tasted like coffee and shrimp-flavoured ramen and something else, something sweet, and maybe it was just the taste of Yoongi.
Could it be that he had unlocked one? And he tried to count the eyelashes which he could admire from so close right now.
Maybe he had even unlocked a hundred.
The kiss was tender and heavy at the same time. It was not just a touch, but a search. He was seeking for him, tried to find him, to tell him what he couldn't with words. What they tried to tell each other for so long.
He pulled away after some seconds, before they would go too far, too fast, too early.
Yoongi smiled at him between two soundless pants. His teasing eyes shimmering with something he couldn't describe properly. “So, you also like my company?”
“Yeah. A lot.” Jungkook was out of breath and he should stop saying things so easily, so straight-forward, not playing hard at all.
“Good.”, Yoongi grinned and it was all gummies and cute and his hands were again on the back of his neck, playing with the little fuzzy hairs. “Cos I would like to keep you company for a while. A whole fucking while.”
