Post-Pillars fight, Yumichika and Ikkaku wake up back in their room in the 11th, with Iba quickly filling them in and leaving. A much needed Conversation is had. Fills in the gap in canon that skips over their character dynamics changes. First talk about Yumichika breaking (or trying to) the One Rule when Ikkaku's pillar fell (Ikkaku didn't realize how hard that was for Yumichika all this time, and realizes the reverse would be true as well), which neatly leads in to Yumichika deciding to confess about Ruri'iro Kujaku. A little bit of angst and light argument, but it's actually more reassuring about the strength of the love they share than actually resentful. Now that they've aired their grievances and are on the same page, they decide to alter their Rules and focus more on their relationship together.
Good talk, great missing scene for canon.
