Summary
Cody (CC-2224) is captured by Asajj Ventress when the rest of his unit is killed in an attack attempt upon Kamino (leading to the protection outpost being set up by the republic). The attack was stopped, preventing Kamino’s destruction, but many clones fell that day, most of whom were not yet fully trained cadets. As Ventress retreated, she saw CC-2224, wounded but not dead, and captured him, along with two other cadets as well. No one realizes any had been missing, until several years later when Obi-Wan follows a defeated Ventress immediately after an early battle between Anakin, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan and Ventress herself.
