Summary
“Do you mind telling me the time?” Her, no his voice soft and airy as he continues to stare at me waiting for my response. It takes me a moment to realize that he's talking to me and I pull up my sleeve, revealing the gold watch my mother gave me for my sixteenth birthday.
“Nine thirty-four…”
“Thank you, sir.” He softly smiles at me and then turns to pick up his black tote back. I watch in awe as he straightens out the short skirt as more of the floral scent fills the air. As he begins to walk away from me, I stand up and did the unthinkable.
“Let me walk you home. It’s dangerous for you to be alone this late at night... ” He spins around his hair making him appear more untouchable than before. I watch as a light pink blush slowly appears on his face, he tucks a stray piece of hair behind his ear. He gives me an approving smile and nods his head. I don't know why I feel so excited about this, but butterflies started to fly in my stomach as we walked down the dark street.
This is the beginning of something I never saw coming…
