Chapter Text
He stood in the door opening of her bedroom, her body covered in a blanket as she slept silently. The soft light of the moon washed over her and he smiled gently, moving towards the window. She was forgetful and tended to drop herself into bed without even taking off her clothes and changing more often than not.
She stirred slightly at the footsteps followed by the sounds of the curtains closing and the man tried to move as quietly as possible.
"Hmmn... Hoseok?"
Her voice was soft, filling the male with love. It was one of the many things he loved about her, she had a terribly comforting voice.
"Go to sleep, love. I'm home."
The woman smiled slightly as she curled up up into a ball and fell back into the depth of her exhaustion, soft snores filling the air.
The man looked at her fondly before frowning. He had seen the articles about her and he wasn't naive enough to think she didn't see them. Once again his hatred for the media reared it's head.
She deserved more. He knew it, he knew deep down that he should let her go, but he was a selfish man and that part of him didn't want to let go.
So he laid down next to her, covering her body with his own.
He's protect her.
No matter the cost.
