Summary
There is an ancient, almost completely decimated flower in the Makai that has the ability to grant power. The power beyond S-class, to any demon who can figure out what they have to sacrifice to get it. Despite all of Reikai's attempts, one flower has survived.
A demon, enraged by Raizen's defection to a human, manages to sacrifice his woman in an attempt to gain the power... but the woman's desires are stronger, and instead, the flower deposits two children in Raizen's throne room. Unthwarted, the demon kidnaps one, and flees, raising the baby girl alone in a tower.
When Yoko Kurama arranges to steal an item from Raizen's vault, nothing seems to go right thanks to his headstrong second in command. Injured and fleeing pursuit, he finds an old tower that will do, and climbs inside, only to discover that the tower is not as empty as he thought…
