Chapter 1: Secret (Yagi Toshinori/All Might)

Chapter Text

You weren’t at all prepared with what you saw. A tall but scrawny blonde-haired man wearing oversized clothing, had transformed into All Might. As much as you were a fan and wanted to tell people, you hesitated. There must have been a serious reason as to why he didn’t announce it to the public and you didn’t want to ruin his reputation from gossiping about what you saw. It was by chance that you saw it, so you figured it would give you an opportunity to actually speak with the number one hero.

You quietly followed him until he was in a remote alleyway to make your move. You noticed steam coming out of his form before transforming back to his regular one. After he coughed into his hand, you noticed him wiping his mouth with it. You gathered up your courage and approached him.

“Are you alright?” You asked gently, emerging from where you were hiding. You could see his whole figure jump in shock. He had let his guard down.

“You didn’t see everything did you?” He asked, turning towards you and looked at you with piercing blue eyes.

“I-I did.” You stuttered, your eyes casting downwards; you weren’t able look at him directly in the eyes like that.

“Shit.” You heard him curse under his breath.

“I won’t tell anyone though! I promise. I’m sure you have your reasons and as a fan I don’t want to ruin your reputation.” You said quickly looking back up towards him and putting your hands up in a surrender position. His eyes stared at your face for awhile to tell if you were telling the truth.

“I suppose I will have to take your word for it. What is your name?” He asked after that short silence.

“(Full name).” You replied.

“Well, (L/N)-san. Please take care of yourself and don’t mention this encounter to anyone.” He said before leaving the alleyway, not turning back to look at you.

“I promise.” You whispered quietly; waiting a few moments before leaving the narrow passage as to not raise any suspicion.
