Summary
Mizukawa has seen all of their classmates, their teachers, even their enemies, die over and over again. Their steps carried the weight of a thousand ghosts.
They were in a time loop. They weren't even sure if there was a way out anymore. Strangely enough, the final loop is the one they fucked up the earliest. Who knew breaking down in front of your teacher was actually a good thing?

Iida blinked. "Yours seems to be an outlier, then. You had a tremendous improvement today, apparently. And yet you didn't even use your quirk. What is it?"".... water manipulation."
"Why wouldn't you use it, then, since that seems like the safest quirk out of all of us?"
They just stared at him, seeing so many versions of him again, flickering over and over. Him, broken and dead while they looked on in horror. Him, 3 years older and at the end of what's to come, forever changed by the bullshit no teenagers should see.
Time loops were a curse that never left you alone. If they didn't hate how drugs feel, they'd probably be an alcoholic by now. Maybe if they were blacked out, they wouldn't be haunted every time they saw anyone around them. "... You'd be surprised."
