Summary
Dwarrow are not Hobbits. Unfortunately, being reminded of this in the middle of a diplomatic trip to the Shire with half of Erebor's Court and far too many Took relatives as witnesses is less than ideal for Bilbo.
Thorin may not understand what has driven Bilbo to distraction but given a small bit of privacy, he's more than willing to take advantage of the circumstances.
