Summary
Gifts from the gods can come in strange wrappings.
They can also be mixed blessings, as Victor will discover in time.Living alone on the island of Fleves, near Athens, the last thing Victor expects as he combs the beach one morning is a peculiar treasure that appears seemingly from nowhere in the shape of a handsome young dark-haired man. Exotic in his appearance, he is unconscious, his lifeblood mingling with the white sands underneath him. As Victor tries to aid him, he wonders if the stranger will survive the day. Who is he, and how and why did he come here?
The answer to the first question is Yuuri, a traveler from a faraway land.
As for the other questions…those are more complicated. Not every mystery in life can be solved, and perhaps it is just as well to move on. But inconvenient truths have a habit of revealing themselves, sooner or later… -
