i am not lying when i say that i started crying a few times during the first chapter.... unholy gods... this was good... partly it also was out of anger about those obnoxious though maybe a teeny tiny understandable though absolutely chicken-blind "heroes" i hate them actually. my core four are the found-family-est to ever found-family. My queerplatonic-polycule-babes with attachement issues. Gods I love them.

Great depiction of really specific trauma responses from really specific trauma. Also great depiction of prejudice and micro aggressions. This is a good example of how racism works while not actually being tied to skin color.
