“Hyung, he tried to kill me.” Yoongi said into the phone the second it stopped ringing.
The sound of Jin choking on the other line kind of made him feel bad for starting the conversation off like that. Maybe he should have led with a "hello" first before bringing up attempted murder.
“What?! Who? Who tried to kill you, are you alright?” Jin eventually asked as soon as he calmed himself down.
“That replacement you set up for me.” Yoongi replied, his free hand jingling his keys as he tried to find the right one to unlock his apartment. The sound causing the little excited taps of nails running across hardwood floors on the other side of the door and Yoongi didn’t fight back his smile.
“Wait,” Jin paused while Yoongi pushed open the door and was soon attacked by a hyper fluff of brown fur. “Are you talking about Hoseok?”
