   Summary

   Deku is determined to be optimistic when he draws Shinsou Hitoshi’s name for class 1-A’s Secret Santa. Is he friends with Shinsou? No. Does Shinsou make him skittish? Yes. Is Shinsou the one person in the whole class that Deku has absolutely no gift idea for? Also yes.

   But this doesn’t have to be terrible. For all Deku knows, this could be the start of a beautiful friendship.
