“I KNEW the general would see sense,” Hamilton continued. “It was hard to make him change his mind, after he was against hiring you, but since all my other recommendations worked out--you know the guys, of course, Laurens and Mulligan and Lafayette, they're all here, isn’t that great--he eventually admitted he had been too hasty.
