Chapter Text

It had been a week since Jungkook had visited Yoongi. The older had slipped under the radar as he often did unintentionally and it was up to Jungkook now to bring him back to the surface since Yoongi’s roommate, Seokjin, was visiting relatives abroad as well as doing a brief internship there for a whole month and a half.

So after texting him about his plans for the day the night before, Jungkook made plans to visit his hyung the next day to both escape his loud roommates and even louder friends to seek solace in Yoongi’s quiet den of solitude. It would be a great change of pace for him, he mused.

The only problem was, Yoongi was a witch. And a popular one at that since his potions worked perfectly, his charms were well sought after and his talismans easily sold. This meant he was usually busy with something magical or the other. That was the reason why Jungkook always checked with his hyung before visiting him. He had been warned about the consequences of not informing beforehand and didn’t want to know what could happen if he didn’t.

He set out when the sun passed overhead and he was sure Yoongi had woken up from his slumber. He wore his casual white t-shirt and ripped jeans with his timberlands, a usual outfit for him. In ten minutes, he had reached his hyung’s home. Taking out his earphones, he stuffed them in his pocket.

Jungkook unlocked the door with the borrowed key from Yoongi's roommate. The place smelled musty and old, which seemed to match with Yoongi's personality to him. He walked into the living room of the house and looked around, staring into Yoongi's eyes before a strange feeling hit him.

With a squeak and a poof, Yoongi watched as his friend inhaled the fumes for his newest potion and turned. Into a small furry animal, a bunny, to be exact. Keeping his mask in its place, he came forward and swiftly picked up the small cute pink furred animal in his arms. Cooing softly, he brought it over to his sofa.

"Kookie, I need you to stay right here while I put the potion away, okay?" he told him softly, stroking the shaking bundle of fur.

Jungkook really did not enjoy this at all. The anxiety filled his body that had shrunk. His point of view morphed to become smaller and his senses had changed, he could hear more and smell better. He had no idea what happened as he got put on the counter of the kitchen. He fell over his paws as he walked forward, he could see himself in the dark glass of the microwave.

Jungkook jumped back as soon as he didn't see himself but a small white bunny with light brown fur spots in the microwave glass. He walked back to the corner of the kitchen counter, the natural instincts of a bunny taking over for him to hide.

A few minutes later, when Yoongi was done putting everything away and had aired out the room, he came back to where he had put Jungkook. "Jungkook-ah? Where did you go? I told you to stay right here," he said gently, trying to coax out his unintentional victim. All the while, he kept thinking of ways to bring him back but there was none till the magic wore off.

As soon as Jungkook heard Yoongi's voice he raised up his head and appeared on the kitchen counter again. He saw Yoongi's hands reach out for him and took two careful steps back.

"Hey it's alright, it's just me," Yoongi said his voice even softer now as he tried to maintain eye contact, smiling slightly to ease his friend's fight or flight instincts that he could almost smell from where he stood.

Jungkook's body didn't relax, it almost seemed like he tensed up even more as Yoongi tried harder, but eventually Jungkook took a step forward towards Yoongi.

"That's it, you're doing well," Yoongi coerced, staying still in his position to help Jungkook. "I won't hurt you, you know that Jungkookie," he said, watching his friend.

Jungkook carefully took a step forward again and relaxed, a little. The body was less tense than before as he carefully walked towards Yoongi's hands

Yoongi waited till Jungkook was completely on his outstretched palm. He smiled and reached out to stroke his newly attained fur.

"Wow you're so cute and fluffy... It's like your real personality has given you this shape," he whispered, wanting nothing more than nuzzling his nose into the soft fur. Jungkook's long ears went flat on his head in the anxiety and fear as he tried to hide himself in Yoongi's palms.

Yoongi shushed him quietly, talking to him gently as he stood in his place and tried to help his friend become less jittery. "You'll be fine Jungkook-ah, you'll be completely fine," he hummed gently. Jungkook started to relax in Yoongi's hands as he nuzzled his nose against Yoongi's finger. He softly bit into the skin of Yoongi's finger.

Yoongi inhaled sharply and tutted. "Bad boy, Jungkook," he chastised before deeming it safe enough to pick him up. Wrapping his arms around the little body, he picked him up and walked to his bedroom and set him down on the bed.

"Hmm... I wonder if I still have that potion," he wondered out loud while watching an anxious Jungkook sniff about. Jungkook sat down on the pillow of Yoongi's bed and his natural reflexes made him chew on the fabric. Yoongi frowned, sighing in annoyance. He reached out and nudged Jungkook's (bunny's?) face away from his pillow.

"Kookie no," Yoongi said sternly. He needed to try and get his Jungkookie to talk again. Soon. He needed to be able to communicate with the brat again but he couldn't look for the potion while Kookie destroyed his house. Jungkook bit Yoongi's finger again. He was pissed at Yoongi for turning him into a bunny in the first place, he was sure to show it to him.

"Hey! Who told you to barge into my house unannounced and unwelcome, huh?" Yoongi frowned. "You're lucky I haven't thrown you out yet, you ungrateful brat," he mumbled. Though he couldn't ever do that. Jungkook looked just too adorable as a bunny. He wanted this to last. At least he was smaller than him in this form.

Jungkook bit Yoongi's finger again. It was the only way he could even communicate with Yoongi at this point. Jungkook wanted to make clear to Yoongi that it was the older that had invited him over.

"Stop biting everything you find," Yoongi said exasperatedly. "Hold on, I'll get you to talk," he said, pointing his finger at the small one before stomping out of his room to go search for the potion he needed. Jungkook stayed still on the middle of the sheets waiting for Yoongi to return.

Yoongi finally found a bottle with the right concoction and poured it out onto a little watch glass which he was sure would be enough for his little friend. He took it back to the bedroom and hummed appreciatively when he found Jungkook on his sheets, not destroying anything. "That wasn't so hard now was it Jungkookie," Yoongi complimented, putting down the watch glass in front of him.

"Lick that up for hyung, yeah?" he said as he kneeled down by the bed.

The bed dipped as Yoongi sat down on it and Jungkook's nails held onto the fabric as he walked closer towards the glass. He licked up the drink, it was bitter but it did something. He felt a itch in his 'throat'.

Yoongi watched hopefully as Jungkook shuddered from what he guessed was the taste of the potion. "So? Try saying something?" he urged as his eyes widened with anticipation.

"Fuck you," was the first thing that came up in Jungkook's mind and also out of his mouth. The first tones hurt his throat a lot. "This is so unfair," he said, he noticed how his voice was a bit squeakier.

Yoongi cackled. He sounded so funny. The voice was much squeakier than Jungkook's original. "I'm sorry but," he laughed again, wiping at his eyes, "you sound," he wheezed, "too much like your child self."

"Sorry," he said after coughing for a while. "Why did you come unannounced?" he asked, putting his face in his hands.

"You texted me!" Jungkook replied, walking closer to Yoongi, sitting on his lap. "You texted me to come over," he repeated.

"Did I? I don't remember that. I was going to make potions for all of today," Yoongi frowned, hand going subconsciously to the fur, stroking it gently just to feel its softness under his fingers.

"You did," Jungkook said as he felt Yoongi's hand through his fur, he enjoyed the feeling of it.

"Sorry Kookie... Also, you're not going to like this but you're going to stay a bunny," Yoongi said, scrunching his nose up as he waited for Jungkook's nails to dig into his skin or for him to bite him.

Jungkook groaned, at least he tried, it came out as more like a sniff. "For how long?" he asked as he relaxed on Yoongi's leg.

"Uhm... Two weeks? Or more? Depending on how strong the potion was when you took it," he grimaced, biting his lip.

"I have classes!" Jungkook said as he jumped away from Yoongi's lap, snuggling himself on Yoongi's pillow.

Yoongi sighed as he stood up with the little watch glass. "I know. I didn't want this to happen either, okay? It was an honest mistake and now we both have to live with it," Yoongi said with a shrug.

"Two weeks," Jungkook said as he closed his eyes. He was going to have to deal with it.

"Yeah two weeks it is. If you want, I can kick you out earlier to feed you to the hungry street dogs," Yoongi said nonchalantly after setting the piece of glass down on his dresser.

Jungkook decided to ignore the last comment. "I'm hungry," he said as he walked towards the corner of the bed, he looked down to the floor and decided it was a little too high to jump down from.

"Yeah go ahead. You're a bunny. Jump all you want, you little kangaroo," Yoongi snorted, watching him with amusement. "Don't you also eat only leaves now?" he asked as he sat down on the bed again.

Jungkook huffed. "Bunnies eat a lot more than only leaves, they eat a lot of vegetables," Jungkook said as he looked down to floor and then decided that if he'd hurt himself from the jump he'd blame Yoongi.

"Do you think you can cling on to my shoulder because I don't feel like carrying you in my hands," Yoongi said, glancing at Jungkook sideways. "It's so weird thinking you're the same Jungkook who made fun of my height. Ha. You're gonna realise how it feels to belittle someone about something they can't control," he laughed cynically.

"Rude," Jungkook said as he tripped over the floor. "I can walk myself," he replied as he came to his first obstacle, the closed door.

"Okay, I'm gonna get myself some sleep then," Yoongi shrugged, lying down on his bed. He knew Jungkook would call for him sooner or later. The fact that Jungkook was almost completely dependent on him made him smile gleefully. It'll be cute. Heck. The bunny is cute, no matter what expression it tries to pull, it'll be cute.

"The door, leave the doors open," Jungkook said as he jumped from a chair onto the bed. He walked onto Yoongi and sat on his face. Yoongi pursed his lips before blowing a raspberry onto Jungkook's underside. It was his trial. He wanted to go on his own. Yoongi had already offered to help, he was the one who refused.

Jungkook was ready to scratch on Yoongi's face with his nails. "Hyung," Jungkook whined.

Yoongi plucked the little bunny off his face. "Can you repeat that? I want to record it as blackmail for after you turn back," he grinned down at him as he reached out for his phone.

"No," Jungkook said as he tried to bite Yoongi's fingers again to let him go.

"Behave or I'll drop you from over my head," Yoongi warned, raising him up. He stood up and walked in the direction of the door as he put his phone in his pocket.

"Alright," Jungkook said as he huffed and let Yoongi carry him towards the door.

"Good bunny~" Yoongi sang with a grin as he continued to navigate through the house to the kitchen with Jungkook in his hands. Jungkook hit Yoongi's palm hard with his paws before he got put down on the kitchen counter.

"Okay bye. Do what you want, you ungrateful little thing," Yoongi huffed as he stepped away from the counter. He rubbed his palm where the nails seemed to have scratched him. Jungkook didn't mind. He ran towards the fruit bowl that stood on the counter and started biting on an apple there.

"I'm leaving. Do what you want," Yoongi said, walking out of the kitchen leaving Jungkook to his devices.

Jungkook continued to eat the apple. Halfway through he noticed how much the apple was and how he got full. He continued to find a way where he could get back to the floor and maybe find a way to go to the living room.

Problem was, he couldn't get down from the counter.

Yoongi left all the doors open as well as cast a spell on his hallways to carry sound better. He couldn't get mad at his friend especially when he had turned into such a small animal.  He was always weak for Jungkook even as a human but that's not anything anyone needs to know.

"Hyung!" Jungkook yelled as he hoped that Yoongi hadn't fallen asleep yet, this was his friends greatest talent. Falling asleep anytime and anywhere.

Yoongi almost fell off his sofa when he heard what can only be classified as a squeak from the kitchen. He knew it was Jungkook but he couldn't help but snicker as he stayed in his place for just a tad bit longer, wanting the younger to suffer just a tad bit more.

Jungkook sniffed as walked around the counter of the kitchen. "Hyung!" he yelled again. "Don't bully me! You should be the one being a bunny," Jungkook whined.

"Excuse you?" Yoongi said as he finally walked towards the kitchen slowly. "I was following the right precautions, you weren't. Why should I be the bunny? Just because I was making the potion?" he laughed as he walked close to the counter but not close enough for Jungkook to reach him even by jumping. This was fun.

"There's no reason to make fun of me like this!" Jungkook replied as he looked at Yoongi, trying to frown at him, which wasn't really working as he was a bunny.

Yoongi shrugged. "This is too funny to not laugh at Jungkook. You're too unfunny as a human anyway," he commented, pursing his lips to hide the smile itching to spread on his face. "Imagine if Jiminnie or Taehyungie came here and saw you like this. Do you have any idea how much they'd cuddle you?" he said, leaning forward slightly.

"Do not invite them over," Jungkook replied. "I mean they will, but don't," he warned Yoongi.

"Are you trying to sound threatening?" Yoongi grinned, making cute noises. "You're so cute like this, I'm loving it," he admitted with a small laugh. "I perhaps should invite them over, it'll be fun," he hummed.

"Please don't," Jungkook begged softly as he relaxed down on the counter.

"Anyways, what did you want," Yoongi said, straightening up again. He suppressed a yawn and stretched his arms above his head. Every time he made a potion, it drained him slightly.

"To get on the floor," Jungkook said as he stood up, waiting for Yoongi to stretch out his hands.

"What will you do when you get on the floor?" Yoongi asked, tilting his head slightly. He pulled out his phone and opened the camera app, focusing on the white bunny.

"Run around a bit, pee on your furniture," Jungkook said as he ran behind a cutting board to escape Yoongi's photo.

"Uh huh to try and get kicked out?" he asked, camera still out. "I'll leave the doors open to outside as well," he said with a chuckle. "Pee only on the soil of my potted plants and I'll give it a thought or you can spend the rest of your time here on the counter."

"Mean," Jungkook mumbled as he showed himself to Yoongi again, backing off as soon as he saw the camera again. "I won't pee inside," Jungkook said.

"Come on, I'll put you down on the floor," Yoongi said, putting a palm flat on the counter for Jungkook to climb onto. He stepped closer just in case he needed to support the bunny with his body. He was adamant on capturing the little white bundle of fur with brown patches on his camera.

Jungkook jumped onto Yoongi's hands and finally got put down on the ground. "Next time you invite someone over you warn them," Jungkook said.

"It's the first time this has happened but I'm enjoying this. Didn't think you'd ever be asking for my help like this for the simplest of things," Yoongi chuckled, watching Jungkook skitter about.

"Shut up," Jungkook said as he walked towards the couch in Yoongi's living room and sat down on a pillow.

"Enjoy, I'm heading to bed. Don't get yourself in trouble," Yoongi chuckled, eyes following the white for a while before he yawned. He really needed to rest. And Jungkook has always been energetic. He's not going to rest for quite a while but Yoongi needed it /now/.

"Can you leave out like something to drink and something to eat?" Jungkook asked as he looked up to Yoongi.

"Like what to eat?" Yoongi asked as he turned at the doorway and leaned against the wall there.

"I don't know, lettuce? Fruits? Carrots?" Jungkook proposed towards Yoongi as he looked up. He was craving candy and stuff but he knew that the bunny's body couldn't really handle it too well.

"Lettuce and carrots it is. I'll set them on the floor, try not to make too much of a mess," Yoongi said as he finally pushed himself off and went back to the kitchen to prepare a small shallow bowl of water and a plate with leaves and carrots.

"Sure," Jungkook replied as he walked to Yoongi's legs, pushing his small body against Yoongi's feet.

"Aww little Kookie, are you craving for some attention?" Yoongi asked sweetly, grinning as he stroked the fur, watching as Jungkook's eyes closed and opened and closed again in time with his strokes. Jungkook gave no reply as he snuggled himself on top of Yoongi's feet, his small body relaxing completely.

Yoongi chuckled but continued to pet the younger with repeated motions. "Jungkook, I want to sleep I'm tired," he reminded the bundle on his feet.

"Let's sleep together," Jungkook said softly as he looked up to Yoongi.

"Okay, don't freak out then," Yoongi agreed as he wrapped his hands around Jungkook's small and now unexpectedly pliant form. Cradling him close to his chest, Yoongi walked to the bedroom and left the door open, setting Jungkook down on the bed before closing his windows. He climbed into bed himself and beckoned Jungkook closer. "Already tired?" he asked softly, not wanting to startle the younger.

"This bunny form, is very tiring," Jungkook said as he got closer to Yoongi, jumping on Yoongi's pillow. He let out a small yawn.

Yoongi smiled softly as he reached out and ran his fingers along the length of Jungkook's bunny body, trying to lull both himself and his friend to sleep. Jungkook relaxed almost immediately with Yoongi's touch and he dozed off soon after. Finding himself in a weird dream based around bunny's.

Yoongi felt himself melting inside. Maybe after these two weeks he'd get himself a pet. And allow them to talk. It would be nice to have a companion in the house and actually be able to call it home. He saw Jungkook's form inhale and exhale rapidly for a while before he too drifted off into a blissful dreamless sleep

They fell into a seamless routine with each other. Yoongi managed to write to and convince Jungkook's institution about his absence for two weeks and how it wouldn't affect his grades. Yoongi's roommate was away for almost a month which gave him enough time to just enjoy himself in the company of the little bunny Jungkook. They had found in each other irreplaceable company. It was endearing. But while they spent time engrossed in each other, the rest of their gang grew curious. After all, they had disappeared off the face of earth at the same time.

So one fine afternoon there were knocks on the door, this was the first guest they had coming over to Yoongi's apartment (because it wasn't like anyone would ever come over to Yoongi's place). Yoongi looked up from the book he was reading to look at Jungkook.

"Do you want to hide while I check who's here?" he asked as he looked at the arm rest where the bunny rested. A muffled "hyung" rang out through the house and Yoongi inhaled sharply. "It's Taehyung," he whispered.

"I'm under the couch," Jungkook mumbled as he sprinted under the furniture and hid.

"Don't shake too much. I'll try to get rid of them soon," Yoongi consoled him, nudging him inside to make sure he couldn't be seen before he went to the door and threw it open slowly. Jungkook stood silent under the couch as he heard Taehyung and Jimin's voices.

"Yeah I'm alright," Yoongi assured them, trying not to let them in too far into his house.

"And I miss Jungkookie... Do you know where he is?" Jimin pouted, tugging at Yoongi's sleeve. Even though Yoongi's heart swelled with adoration, he couldn't wait to get rid of his two dongsaengs.

"I don't know, sorry Minnie," he said solemnly. Jungkook raised his head as he heard his name and hid deeper under the couch.

"You really don't know? At all?" Taehyung asked again as he sat down on the couch and looked at Yoongi.

"He didn't contact me for the past couple of days," he said, nodding. "I really don't know. Heck. I haven't even left my house for most of the time these past couple of weeks," he chuckled, shaking his head. He gazed out the window, trying to divert his attention from the fact that Taehyung was probably sitting right above Jungkook.

"When we call him it goes over to voicemail immediately, but he always has his phone with him?" Jimin said as he sat down next to Taehyung, cuddling up to him on the couch.

Yoongi wrinkled his nose. "Maybe he got tired of you Jimin. You seem pretty clingy to me," he said pointedly, looking at the lack of space between Jimin and Taehyung.

"Oh come on Jungkook isn't like-" Jimin started but then shut himself up. "But he wouldn't disconnect from me," he said as he pouted to Yoongi.

Yoongi simply shrugged. "I can't say anything on his behalf but maybe he's going through something that he wants to get through alone?" He said, lifting a shoulder lightly to say it was just a suggestion.

"But he always goes to you when he's going through something hyung," Taehyung said as he frowned. Jungkook sat under the couch. His tiny heart beating loud with the thrill. The couch dipped with the weight of the two cuddling boys on top of Jungkook. Something clicked as he ran, sprinting towards the other side of Yoongi's living room, hiding in the corner.

"You have a bunny?" Taehyung called out as he looked at the small white ball of fur, standing up from the couch, walking towards it. Jungkook immediately run off, hiding behind a cupboard.

"Hey Taehyung, stop," Yoongi said, reaching out immediately to grab his wrist.

"Oh my god, this is why you were busy isn't it?" Jimin laughed merrily, clapping his hands. "It's a bunny!! That's how much you like our little Jungkookie?" Jimin sang, nudging his hyung.

"It's not... That's not why it's... Actually. You might be right. Maybe because Jungkook resembles bunnies so much..." Yoongi trailed off, thinking more and more about the change.

"It's so cute," Taehyung said as he sat down again, hoping for the bunny to come out again, but Jungkook didn't come from behind the cupboard.

"He is," Yoongi smiled fondly, looking back at where the bunny had disappeared. He wondered how the others would react if he told them he had changed their friend in an honest mistake.

"I think we should tell them, shouldn't we Jungkookie?" he said quietly as he approached the cupboard, hoping Jungkook's sharp ears would catch his words but his guests wouldn't. Jungkook's small ears came from behind the cupboard as he walked towards Yoongi. He walked on Yoongi's stretched out hands.

"He's so adorable, how did you teach him so well?" Taehyung asked as he frowned.

Yoongi chuckled quietly to himself as he cradled his form close as he had become habituated to. "I didn't have to teach him anything," he told Taehyung, fingers finding their way into Jungkook's soft fur again. "But you're not touching him," he said, addressing both of them sharply.

"Why not?" Taehyung asked as he looked at the small animal in Yoongi's hands. Wondering how this guy who didn't even bother to care about his friends half the time could care enough about this bunny.

"Because, he's not used to you," Yoongi reasoned, frowning. "Also I don't trust you to not manhandle this small thing," he added, bowing his head down to nuzzle his nose into the fur. Jungkook's head perked up with Yoongi's movements but then relaxed again. Taehyung giggled in the background.

"He's not that used you to either," Taehyung said.

"At least he's more used to me," he argued with a raised eyebrow. "Uhm but yeah. Jungkook," he nodded towards the little nervous bundle in his arms.

"What about him?" Taehyung asked as he frowned and looked at the bunny in Yoongi's arms.

"Jungkook," Yoongi said, gesturing to the bunny again. "At least respond to your own name you brat," he told the bundle in his arms.

"Wait... That's... That's Jungkook?" Jimin gasped, his hand on Taehyung's wrist.

"Yes," Jungkook said in his squeaky voice. The next few seconds were hell for everyone in the room because Jimin screamed, he screamed his throat raw with shock.

"Jimin what the fuck?" Yoongi yelled at him frowning deeply as he tightened his hold Jungkook.

"Jimin?" Taehyung said, his voice worried as he held Jimin closer in his arms.

"Yoongi hyung what did you do to him?!" Jimin asked, scandalised at the realisation that the bunny Yoongi was holding was indeed Jungkook and it spoke! "Tae, that is our Jungkookie, don't you see?" he asked, pointing at the white fur that was peeking out from Yoongi's arms.

"Yes I see that," Taehyung said as he could understand the shock that Jimin was in.

"It was an accident Jimin," Jungkook explained from Yoongi's arms.

"It's hyung to you," Jimin pouted whining, resting against Taehyung's shoulder. "I can't believe you hyung. You should at least be careful or at least have an antidote," he scolded.

"I'm sorry Jimin, it was really not something I wanted either," Yoongi sighed.

"Hyung said I'll change back," Jungkook said. "Taehyung hyung, do you still want to hold me?" Jungkook asked, nudging his nose against Yoongi's hands.

"Jungkook," Yoongi warned as he felt the wet sensation on his hand. "I'll put you down on his lap if you repeat that," he said, looking down at him.

"Can you put me down on the floor so I can run around myself?" Jungkook asked as he looked up to Yoongi, big eyes staring at the elders.

Yoongi rolled his eyes and crouched down to help Jungkook get down. "Run around now," he urged.

"Jungkookie, come to hyung," Jimin laughed, making grabby hands towards him. Jungkook ran towards the couch, jumping on Jimin's lap, rolling up to a small ball of fur in Jimin's lap.

"You're so cute," Taehyung mumbled as he looked at the white fluff ball with heart eyes.

Jimin sighed softly and reached out to touch the fur exposed to him. "So soft, the fur is so soft," he said, barely able to keep the excitement from seeping into his voice.

"If you want you guys can keep him till he changes too. You guys live close to each other anyways," Yoongi said before retreating to the kitchen to get himself some water.

"No," Jungkook protested. Taehyung grinned as he took Jungkook in his hands and with his thumb he petted in between Jungkook's ears.

"See? They're perfectly capable of keeping up with your constant need for attention," Yoongi snickered as he leaned against the doorway, a water bottle in his hand.

"I don't mind," Jimin piped up from his place, watching Taehyung.

"I don't want it," Jungkook said as he swiftly escaped Taehyung's hands and jumped off the couch. He ran towards Yoongi, falling over his own paws, falling with his small face against the floor.

"Man that was good blackmail material," Yoongi snorted, pocketing his phone before kneeling by Jungkook's form. Helping him right himself, Yoongi peered at this face. "Not hurt are you?" he asked softly, scratching above Jungkook's nose with his index finger.

Unbeknownst to him, Jimin had his phone out and was filming the exchange between the two.

"I'm fine," Jungkook mumbled softly as he jumped on Yoongi's hands again, he enjoyed being in Yoongi's arms more than anything at this point.

"Hey, give me a warning at least," Yoongi huffed as he made sure Jungkook was comfortable in his arms before he stood up.

"You look cute," Jimin giggled from his place on the couch.

"Yah! Park Jimin! Put that phone down," Yoongi yelped, turning around to hide his face. "The deed has been done, hyung. Your face was clear for the rest of the two minute video," Jimin chuckled before ending the video.

"Delete it hyung," Jungkook whined softly from Yoongi's arms.

"He won't, it was too precious," Taehyung replied as he took Jimin's phone to watch the video again.

"Send it to yourself and upload it to drive so no one can delete all the copies," Jimin told Taehyung, laughing heartily.

"I want you guys out of my house now. I've had enough," Yoongi said, frowning at his two friends distastefully.

"But I want to see Jungkookie again," Taehyung said as he sent the video from Jimin's phone to himself and then giving back Jimin's phone.

"I'll fight you two when back in my human body," Jungkook said as he hid his face in Yoongi's shirt.

"'Jungkookie' doesn't want to see you though. You might as well see yourself out," Yoongi said, drawing out 'Jungkookie' the same way Taehyung and Jimin had been doing ever since they entered.

Jimin leaned towards Taehyung and whispered, "I hope he doesn't remember when he's back, I don't want him to wrestle with me."

"I will!" Jungkook called after Jimin.

"Neither do I," Taehyung whispered back.

Yoongi laughed. "I said goodbye, you uncultured swines," he said, waving them away and successfully ushering them out of the living room.

"Can I hold you one last time before leaving Jungkookie?" Jimin pleaded with a pout, eyes alternating between Jungkook and Yoongi.

"No," Jungkook said as his small nails held onto Yoongi's sweater.

"Ow ow ow, easy Jungkook," Yoongi winced, pulling the sweater away from his skin. "But I guess that answers you Jimin," he shrugged. "Jungkook, what if you stay in my arms and they just stroke your fur?" Yoongi caved, seeing the sad look on Jimin's and Taehyung's face. He really needed to bend to his dongsaengs' wills less easily.

"Alright," Jungkook mumbled softly.

"Yay," Taehyung said as he walked closer towards Yoongi and softly petted Jungkook's fur.

Jimin sighed and shot Yoongi a grateful look as he shifted forward right behind Taehyung to scratch Jungkook's head. "You're really attached to hyung aren't you," he teased, wondering if blushes show on bunnies.

"No," Jungkook protested, his skin heating up but luckily for him the white fur covered it so there wouldn't be any blush.

"You are," Taehyung continued to tease the youngest.

"Okay okay, enough you two," Yoongi sighed, stepping away from them. "It's getting dark outside. Do you just want to stay for dinner now?" he asked, looking over Jimin's shoulder at the late evening sky dyed a dark blue.

"Are you going to cook hyung?" Jimin asked, stepping towards Yoongi, hand tugging on his sleeve. "Of course. What sort of a hyung would I be if I just let you eat takeout?" he chuckled.

"Jimin," Jungkook mumbled softly, receiving a playful glare from the said elder guy.

"Jimin does though," Taehyung chuckled.

"Because my skills aren't anywhere close to Yoongi hyungs," Jimin whined, getting rid of his shoes again. "Let me help you in the kitchen, hyung," he said, bouncing on his feet.

"Of course Jimin. When have you been satisfied with otherwise," Yoongi chuckled, shaking his head fondly as he followed Jimin towards the kitchen. "Jungkook, do you want to stay with us or go and entertain Taehyung?" he asked the cosy ball of fur in his arms.

"You, I don't trust Taehyung hyung," Jungkook mumbled softly, the last words soft enough for only Yoongi and Jimin to hear them.

Jimin laughed loudly and smacked Yoongi's shoulder since he couldn't do it to the one who spoke up. "Tae, you have to watch TV to keep yourself entertained. You're not coming in the kitchen of course," Jimin told his best friend over his shoulder before they entered the kitchen. An over dramatic sigh came from Taehyung right after, making both Jimin and Yoongi chuckle.

Yoongi set Jungkook down on the counter before Jimin and him started to gather ingredients for a tasty and sumptuous meal. Even though Jimin and Taehyung had showed up unannounced, their hyung always had enough groceries to feed them in case they stayed back too long.

"Hyung, is there a salad you can make for me?" Jungkook asked as he walked around the kitchen counter a bit, nibbling the lettuce that Jimin had put down.

"What all would you like in it? The usual cucumber, lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes and carrots?" Yoongi asked as he put a pan on the stove, Jimin skirting around him to set up the chopping board and washed vegetables.

"Yes," Jungkook hummed agreeing with the listed ingredients.

Yoongi sighed softly and drizzled the oil in the pan before going to the fridge and gathering the necessary vegetables, putting them beside the chopping board for Jimin to chop.

"Not too big but not too fine. Julienne should be fine," he instructed Jimin about the salad before he put down the plate he used for Jungkook's food. After he was done gathering everything, he started cooking, instructing Jimin once in a while who carried the small tasks out to a T. Jungkook walked forward, trying to steal small pieces of carrots that Jimin was cutting at that moment. Jimin flicked his finger at Jungkook's nose, shooing him away.

"What if I cut your limb Jungkook, go away," he chided softly before swiftly finishing up his work on Jungkook's salad before setting the plate down on the counter away from the board to keep him safe. Jungkook rushed towards the plate with salad, starting to eat already.

"Slow down Guk. Don't want you sick," Yoongi warned as he sautéed the vegetables on high flame, tossing the contents up every few seconds to avoid them from burning before Jimin added in the broth, quickly adding other sauces as well before reducing the flame and letting the mixture simmer while they fixed up the rice. Jungkook didn't reply, his small mouth filled with the vegetables from the salad, happily eating. Jimin chuckled and took out his phone after wiping his hands on Yoongi's apron, clicking pictures of Jungkook with his cheeks swollen with food.

"Stop taking pictures," Jungkook said as took another piece of carrot, eating it. "I mean it's not like Seokjin hyung is going to believe it's me," he added.

Jimin scoffed. "I took that video, remember? Plus if I show him it, he'll believe it," he said smugly.

"He's not coming back till a month later," Yoongi said, shrugging with a smirk of his own. Jungkook grinned as he ate more of his salad.

Jimin and Yoongi continued to bicker back and forth in that way, with occasional inputs from Jungkook. After preparing dinner, Yoongi and Jimin set up the table for a hungry Taehyung and the two of them, Jungkook on Yoongi’s lap as they finished dining.

The duo left an hour after dinner, bickering back and forth again till Yoongi successfully kicked them out this time. Yoongi carried Jungkook to bed soon after and fell asleep quickly as he relaxed against Jungkook’s warmth in his bed.

Trouble showed up again two days later. Yoongi had woken up before Jungkook and had gotten to work soon after. His clients had increased again and he needed to concentrate now to finish all the orders on time. He didn’t see or hear from Jungkook from the whole day but he didn’t give it much importance. Of course, if Jungkook needed him, he’d seek him out.

As Jungkook started getting more comfortable with his bunny form, Yoongi had started opening his doors and windows more often. And today, on a day when his house was clogging up with smoke, he had thrown open every outlet possible except his main door. Jungkook had been outside a bit as he got into trouble. The neighbours cat had caught his smell and was watching him without a second of distraction.

Jungkook panicked at that point and rushed towards the front door of the apartment. But as he found out that the door was closed he felt the stress reach its peak. Yoongi was pouring his last potion into separate vials when he heard scratching sounds. Dismissing it as just another animal who came looking for food, he concentrated on carrying out his work immaculately.

Jungkook ran up to the window that belonged to the kitchen and tried to get Yoongi's attention again, he tried to yell for help. But he couldn't use his voice. It was like the potion that gave him his voice back had stopped working.

What did catch Yoongi's attention was the incessant knocking on his kitchen window. There was a frantic yet muffled thumping he could hear from his work table. He went to go check on it, eyes widening when he saw Jungkook behind the glass. Opening the pane next to Jungkook, he stuck his hand out and pulled the frightened bunny inside. "I got you, hyung's got you Jungkook-ah," he said, holding the shivering little form in his arms. Jungkook tried to talk again, but he couldn't speak a word as he snuggled in Yoongi's arms, the feeling of safety spreading through him.

Yoongi waited till he stopped shaking to go sit on the couch, putting Jungkook down on his lap. "Why were you outside Guk?" he asked as he stroked the fur to keep him calm. Jungkook couldn't reply and tried to make that clear to Yoongi, but he couldn't, he didn't even know how he could.

On hearing radio silence, Yoongi frowned. If Jungkook couldn't find the words, he usually made that clear. It was also clear that he wasn't completely spooked anymore. He waited for a while longer before coming to the conclusion.

"The potion wore off because you spoke so much," he sighed, flicking his finger gently on Jungkook's head. "Luckily for you, I made some just today so you can have that," Yoongi said, getting up and setting Jungkook down on the couch. "Wait here while I close all the doors and windows and get you your potion. Don't worry, I'll be right back," Yoongi assured him, kissing the bunny's head as a promise before moving away.

And a few minutes later, Yoongi was indeed back with a watch glass in his hand again like the first day and set it in front of Jungkook. "Careful, don't spill it," he said as he cajoled him forward.

Jungkook stepped forward and drank the bitter potion again. Feeling the familiar itch in his throat again. "I was outside because I had to pee because I promised you I wouldn't do that on your furniture," Jungkook spoke.

Yoongi held back a laugh. "Ah is that so. Thanks for being so considerate Guk. But you didn't realise that the potion wore off till you needed to scream?" he said, pulling the watchglass away.

"Yeah," Jungkook mumbled as he snuggled onto Yoongi's lap again, closing his eyes. The adventure had tired him out.

"You're cute like this. Maybe I should keep you like this," Yoongi chuckled, heart warming at the needy behaviour his friend was portraying ever since he turned. "Unless, of course you have always been this way but never showed it but your animal side pushes you to act on those emotions?"

"I've always been cuddly, I just never thought you'd like it," Jungkook mumbled softly into Yoongi's sweater.

"Doesn't seem like you're that way with Jimin or Taehyung and I don't need to tell you for you to know they love cuddling," Yoongi pointed out, raising an eyebrow as his fingers continued to repeatedly make their way down Jungkook's spine.

"If I cuddle with Jimin hyung and Taehyung hyung I'll die," the bunny replied.

"You'll die?" Yoongi guffawed. "Now that's harsh on them. I've woken up in mornings though rarely, between them but I'm here alive and well," he said, tickling the bunny.

"Don't tickle me," Jungkook said as he bit into the skin of Yoongi's finger.

"Brat," Yoongi hissed as he pulled his finger away and slapped his head softly. "Stop being so bratty Jungkook or else one day everyone will get tired of you and leave," he said playfully. He giggled softly, the childlike sound coming out of his throat as he snuggled himself into a comfortable position on Yoongi's lap again.

"I'm free for the rest of the day," Yoongi chirped happily, leaning back to relax against the backrest of his comfortable couch. "I could sleep away the rest of today," he added as an afterthought.

"So could I," Jungkook mumbled as he closed his eyes.

"Do you just want to shift to the bed so that I can stretch out?" Yoongi asked, hands already slipping around Jungkook's body lithely.

"Mhm," he hummed softly as he let Yoongi take him in his hands. Yoongi huffed and made his way to the bedroom, setting Jungkook down before changing out of his work clothes, slipping on looser and more comfortable clothes before getting under the covers.

Jungkook snuggled against Yoongi and it took about five minutes before he fell asleep. Yoongi watched the little bunny's nose with interest for a while like he did often before he fell asleep with a smile on his face.

Maybe they had lost track of time. The two weeks that Jungkook had to stay as a bunny for had finished while they were still napping. Neither of them realised that time had passed so fast as they stayed wrapped up in each other’s presence.

Unfortunately, since neither of them realised the passage of time, when Yoongi woke up first it was definitely a shock. He opened his eyes to feel his arm wrapped around a form much bigger than the bunny he had grown accustomed to hugging to sleep. He was staring at the sleeping face of his friend and risking a glance slightly southward confirmed his suspicions. Jungkook was back in his human body and he was stark naked. And he was cuddled up to Yoongi, his arm also around Yoongi’s waist.

Not knowing what else to do, Yoongi cleared his throat and pulled away from his friend. He shook his shoulder, pointedly looking over his (naked) shoulder. “Jungkook-ah, wake up,” he said, voice higher than he meant it to be.

"H-huh," Jungkook said as he woke up, every small inch of his body seemed to hurt. Then he noticed it, he was back in his human form. He looked down under the sheets and rolled away a bit from Yoongi. "Good morning," he mumbled softly.

"Yeah," Yoongi said, getting up and turning away from Jungkook. "Welcome back I guess," he said as he got off the bed and stalked off to fetch Jungkook's clothes, the ones he'd worn on the day he came in.

"Thanks," Jungkook mumbled as he stretched out his hand and took the clothes, putting on his boxers and then got up from the bed, changing into his jeans first, then his shirt. "So," Jungkook mumbled, unsure what to say or do.

Yoongi chewed on his lip and looked out the window. "You must be hungry, right? I'll cook some meat for you unless you still want to have leaves," he said, looking over his shoulder at Jungkook, seeing his human form for the first time for weeks. He took in a shuddering breath. How would he sleep without the bunny now?

"Lamb Skewers?" Jungkook asked as he looked back at Yoongi and smiled brightly.

"Sure. But I don't know the closest place to get them," Yoongi told him, leaning against the wall.

"But I do," Jungkook said as he grinned and stepped into his shoes, he only noticed how much his body ached as he stood up, falling back on the bed with a loud groan.

Yoongi started laughing, bracing himself against the wall as his knees grew weak with his laughter. "You're not used to being a human, careful," Yoongi laughed.

"It hurts," Jungkook whined as he tried to stand up again, but it just felt like he could collapse anytime.

"Just... wait for a while. Do you want help?" Yoongi asked, chuckling as he came closer to sit next to Jungkook on the bed.

"Yeah," Jungkook said as he stretched out his hand for Yoongi to take it, putting it around Yoongi's shoulders and trying hard not to rest all of his body weight on Yoongi.

"It's okay, I can hold you up," Yoongi said, looking sideways at his friend, his hand on his waist. "I might be smaller in height but you've relied on me for all these days, a few more hours won't change much," Yoongi added with a quiet snicker.

"I'm very sure I'm going to miss snuggling on your lap," Jungkook said as they walked out of the bedroom together.

"I'm gonna miss having a talking bunny around who wanted to be carried everywhere in my arms," Yoongi said, smiling softly. "Your fur was softer than your hair," he commented, reaching up to ruffle Jungkook's hair up.

"I mean these were very stressless weeks for me," Jungkook said as he smiled. "I'd do it again."

"Summer vacation plans confirmed?" Yoongi joked as he helped Jungkook sit down on the couch.

"If you don't mind," Jungkook mumbled softly as sat down on the couch.

"Of course I don't but don't you have to go back home to Busan with Jimin?" Yoongi asked as he reached for his phone to look up lamb skewer stalls close to his house.

"I'm an adult," Jungkook said as he shrugged. "Okay, I'll go to Busan the first week and then I'll spend the time with you," Jungkook proposed as he looked at Yoongi.

"I'm planning to get a bunny soon. You'll have to fight for attention," Yoongi warned, looking up from his phone at Jungkook briefly before looking back down. "There's a place almost right around the corner apparently. I'll go get them since it'll take us ages if we both go," he told him about the lamb skewers.

"I'll fight you if you get a bunny, don't replace me hyung," Jungkook said as he pouted towards Yoongi.

"You're a human, and I'm getting a bunny," Yoongi argued, a grin on his face. "I'm not replacing you, I'm just getting myself a pet I can cuddle at any time," he said, trying to sound nonchalant.

"You can cuddle me all the time, even when I'm not a bunny," Jungkook mumbled softly as he looked at Yoongi from the corner of his eyes.

"But you're not that small anymore," Yoongi complained, voice shier as he played with the hem of his shirt.

"Aren't there like spells for that?" Jungkook grinned as he leaned forward and pulled Yoongi closer to him.

"Spells for... Spells for what," Yoongi said, pouting out as he tried to pull away from Jungkook.

"Getting me smaller," Jungkook replied.

"That... No, I mean how? You need to go back to classes and everyone will notice the change. I can't turn you into a shapeshifter or anything," Yoongi rambled, crossing his arms as he shifted on the couch, sitting slightly away from Jungkook.

"Sad," Jungkook said as he pouted. "But will you get lamb skewers, I'm hungry."

Yoongi clenched his jaw and smacked Jungkook as he got up. "I was going to leave when you pulled me down on the couch, you brat," he said frowning before stomping away to get his wallet and keys.

"See you hyung," Jungkook said as he grinned and waved the elder goodbye from the couch.

Yoongi grumbled to himself as he left his house with burning ears and a restless mind. Following the directions on his phone, he reached the stall quickly and bought eight sticks of lamb skewers. If Jungkook was hungry, he inhaled his food. Eight would be a good number, he decided before walking back to his apartment slowly. He really didn't want to miss holding a furry bunny in his arms, cuddling it as much as he wanted. It was such a nice fortnight he spent.

Jungkook waited patiently for Yoongi to return. He was thinking about how distant Yoongi seemed now, missing how close and cuddly Yoongi was before he turned back into his human form. Yoongi came back home fairly quickly, jerking back in surprise when he saw Jungkook.

"Whoa, I'm really not used to you," he commented under his breath, taking the skewers with him to the kitchen to put them out on a plate.

"I get that," Jungkook said as he smiled and stood up, but only remembering that he shouldn't move when the pain shot through his legs.

Yoongi came back and sighed disappointedly at Jungkook. He put the plate down on his coffee table and pushed it closer to the couch. After freeing his hands, he moved Jungkook around till his head was on the armrest and the rest of his body stretched out on the couch. Sitting towards the other end, Yoongi pulled Jungkook's legs onto his lap, massaging them to bring back the circulation in them. As Yoongi's hands touched his skin he shot up. But two seconds later he relaxed and reached for the plate of meat, eating the skewers.

"Don't finish it off, mine are included in those 8, alright" Yoongi warned, watching as Jungkook started eating their joint favourite food. He kept working on Jungkook's muscles. "How do your legs feel?" he asked, honestly curious about Jungkook's legs and if he was feeling any better.

"They hurt as I try to stand or something touches them," Jungkook said as he looked at Yoongi. "As I don't do anything I don't feel them at all," he finished as he took another bite from the meat.

"Maybe you're just not used to having long legs anymore," Yoongi chuckled as he increased the pressure on Jungkook's massage, rubbing vigorously to help him walk. "It'll hurt till you force yourself to overcome it and actually walk," he told him, looking at him as he continued to work his hands in opposite directions.

"Well," Jungkook said as he swallowed a bite. "I'll walk tomorrow," he said as he took another bite of the lamb meat.

"Tomorrow?" Yoongi asked incredulously, his hands stopping as he stared at Jungkook. "What do you mean tomorrow? You're taking hyung's bed then."

"Yes," Jungkook said as he bit his lip. "Is it okay if I stay over here?"

"As if I could kick you out," Yoongi sighed, reaching out to grab a skewer for himself. Chewing on it happily, he leaned back against the couch, one hand still on Jungkook's lower limbs which were still on his lap. "I told you already, you're taking hyung's bed."

"Why can't I sleep with you?" Jungkook asked as he bit his lip.

"Because my bed isn't meant for two humans. A human and a bunny was fine," Yoongi said after swallowing the meat he had been chewing on. "Plus why do you need to sleep with me?" he asked before biting off another piece.

"I like sleeping with you," Jungkook mumbled softly, a pink blush appearing on his cheeks as he took another skewer and bit the meat off it.

"You-" Yoongi started before pausing and inhaling deeply. "You don't even know. You're a full grown human now and we've never shared a bed before. You know that. I only share my bed with Jimin because we're both small," he said, looking at the ground, the point of contact between his lap and Jungkook's legs burning.

"Hyung," Jungkook pouted as he bit his lip. "Turn me into a bunny again in that case," Jungkook teased.

"And take care of you for two more weeks? Not too tempting, Kookie," Yoongi answered with a smirk on his face.

"But did you mind it," Jungkook asked as he smirked towards Yoongi before biting the meat again.

Yoongi opened his mouth and closed it and opened it again as he thought of a comeback. "I'd rather take care of a real bunny than an overgrown baby who has been turned into one," Yoongi said finally with a raised eyebrow.

"Hyung," Jungkook whined softly. "Don't you like me?" Jungkook asked, a pout on his lips.

Yoongi chuckled, patting Jungkook's leg. "It's not about like or dislike, Jungkookie. It's just about comfort and literally physical space," he said, putting the empty skewer back on the plate.

"Alright, why can't we sleep together on hyungs king size bed?" Jungkook then proposed.

"If he found out that we slept on his bed, he'd skin me. That's why I'm saying, the only way is to sleep on the two different beds," Yoongi refuted, smiling softly. Of course, they could also spoon but he didn't want to propose that. They were going to live separately after tomorrow anyway. "Why are you so adamant?"

"I'll miss cuddling with you," Jungkook mumbled softly, looking away from Yoongi to hide the pink stain appearing on his cheeks.

"Me too," Yoongi agreed, fingers tracing abstract patterns on Jungkook. "You're going to go back tomorrow anyway, might as well get used to sleeping alone again," Yoongi added, slightly louder. Jungkook nodded as he took another lamb skewer from the plate and took a big bite from it to shut himself up.

"Are you mad?" Yoongi teased, shifting slightly to get closer to the plate of skewers, helping himself to one as well.

"Just a bit sad," Jungkook replied honestly. He didn't want to lie to his hyung.

"It's a bit melancholic to me too, I got used to this a bit too fast. And now I have to let go," Yoongi said quietly with a small sigh.

"Can't we let go slowly?" Jungkook asked, his voice sounded unsure about his words as he looked at Yoongi.

"I'd rather never let go," Yoongi frowned. "How do you say we let go slowly? Do you have any ideas?" he asked, hand itching to reach out and hold his.

"Me neither," Jungkook said as he looked at Yoongi and bit his cheek. "Please let's sleep together for tonight only?"

Yoongi chewed on the inside of his lip. He had always been weak for Jungkook. He shivered under his gaze and nodded. "Okay, okay for tonight... Yeah, let's sleep together for tonight," he agreed with a shaky breath. Jungkook smiled at his hyung before he took another bite from the lamb skewers.

"It's not going to help, you realise that right? That I'll miss you after tonight anyway? What will I do then?" Yoongi asked, feeling helpless.

"Ask me to come back," Jungkook mumbled as he looked at Yoongi. "I'll come back when you ask me to."

"Every night? I held you every night for fifteen nights and tomorrow night it will be the sixteenth night. I don't know how I'll cope," Yoongi said, not wanting to meet Jungkook's eyes.

"Every night," Jungkook replied.

"I need to get a bigger bed, don't I?" Yoongi smiled teasingly.

"Yes," Jungkook said as he met Yoongi's eyes and smiled brightly.

"Give me the skewers, you've been eating non stop," Yoongi chuckled, reaching out for the plate.
