Summary
Epilogue/continuation of Gregory Maguire's The Wicked Years, particularly Out of Oz, with a focus on finishing Liir's story, which was too open-ended and sad for my taste. And what of his one-time lover, Trism? They've suffered enough; maybe they deserve some peace. So, if you're in the mood for a happy ending with some romance, this might be for you. Bonus points if you catch all my references to the original Oz books by L. Frank Baum, but that's just for fun.
Some parts are rated Mature for some male/male explicitness, though I stop short of erotica, in my own estimation.
05/11/2022: 2nd Edition! After getting some feedback, I made a few changes. Principally, the last paragraph of Chapter 3 is now replaced by two new paragraphs, and there's also a new one at the beginning of Chapter 4. I also made some typo corrections, added some extra space in between scenes, and fixed a few lines that needed fixing. Most of these changes, most readers will never notice. But if it seems better than the first time, I (and my lovely editor) take full credit!
