Chapter 1

Summary:

Jeon Jungkook's definition of Min Yoongi

Chapter Text

Yoongi isn't grace. He's blunt fingernails on piano keys. He's rough hums at midnight. He's all scratchy voice and prickly personality and the last thing Jungkook would think of to describe grace.

And yet.

There's something about him. More than grace maybe. Something about the way he holds himself. Blatantly there. Stubbornly existing.
He thinks of nature. Of trees. Of crooked branches and knobby trunks and nonsensically intertwining twigs. Of how they're not exactly graceful but they're not exactly not. And despite that, or maybe because of it, they're still relentlessly breathtaking.

Breath-giving. Breathtaking.

He wraps his arms around yoongi and pulls him in close,
Breathes him in.
