   Summary

In 1358, a spiraling Kol Mikaelson came across the powerful (and immortal), Irish witch, Iona Ó Mordha. Despite his better judgment, Kol and Iona became friends, allies--both deeply-connected in their dark, broken hearts. Kol thought he left Iona and her band of witches behind in the 14th Century, but when Davina is infected with an ancient, incurable cancer, he recognizes it immediately. For it was that very same virus that killed his dear friend, Iona.
