Transactions of Another Kind

Summary:

Toga pays Uraraka an early morning visit, strictly business.

Work Text:

Toga hums cheerfully, letting the the plastic shopping bags in her hands swing as she sways back and forth in place.

After waiting for a few more moments, she gives the doorbell another insistent ring. Finally, she hears the sound of a sleepy yawn and heavy footsteps approach. It’s a bit early and Toga isn’t going to begrudge a girl her beauty sleep, but surely any aspiring Hero and/or double-agent Villain should be a bit more alert than this?

Uraraka Ochako opens the door. The sleep-hazy look on her face disappears immediately, her eyes widening in shock.

“Hey!” Toga beams. “Surprise housecall!”

“What are you doing here?” Urarak whispers harshly. At least she has the good sense to keep her volume low, but really, isn’t it kind of obvious?

Toga holds up her hands to show off the groceries she picked up on her way here. “I brought food!”

Uraraka stares at for a long moment, then steps back slowly away from the door.

“Get inside before the neighbors see you,” she says.

Toga skips in, somehow managing to stay upbeat even in the face of a horrid welcome like that. She sets the grocery bags down on the kitchen table and begins rifling through them. Uraraka follows her, sitting down at one of the kitchen chairs and resting her head against her hand, watching as Toga unpacks the groceries.

“In the pantry, second shelf,” she murmurs when Toga gets stuck on a box of cereal.

After Toga finishes putting the groceries away, she sits down on a chair across from Uraraka and touches the toe of her shoe against Uraraka’s bare leg.

Uraraka jerks away from her, seemingly wide-awake once more. She stands up and shuffles away, grabbing the old tea kettle on the stove and filling it with water. “Tea?” she asks, and Toga thinks it’s absolutely adorable how Uraraka is too shy to look at her.

“Yes, please,” she says. Uraraka has to stand on her tiptoes to shuffle through the high-up cabinet, and her pink tank top rides up when she does. White skin flashes in the space between the hem of the tank top and the waistband of her shorts, and Toga looks at her. Her thighs are a wide, pale expanse; her calves a smooth and pretty curve. Toga wants to touch her skin, lick it and bite it. She wants to kiss the give of this cute girl’s stomach and watch the fat there tremble under her touch. She wants to look at the way Uraraka’s breasts shake when she gasps.

“I haven’t seen you before,” Uraraka comments as she pours the hot water over two tea bags.

“Whaaat?” Toga says. “We met at training camp, don’t you remember me?” She pouts.

“I mean, I haven’t seen you with the League of Villains before.”

“Ooh,” Toga leans forward, watches Uraraka spoon some honey into her cup. She makes a ‘bleh’ face. Toga has tried liking sweet things for the cute schoolgirl aesthetic, but she just can’t stand anything sugary after becoming so used to the copper taste of blood. “Yep, I’m new!" she says. "Toga Himiko, and it’s super-duper nice to meet you, Uraraka-chan!”

“What do you want, Toga Himiko?” Uraraka asks. She looks tired again, and Toga figures she might as well wrap this up, no matter how much she’d like to stay up all night with this soft and pretty girl.

“Just a bit of your blood, Uraraka-chan,” she says, grabbing Uraraka’s hand. She's careful to avoid touching Uraraka’s fingertips.

Uraraka’s fingers twitch under hers. “Didn’t you already get some when we fought at the training camp?”

Toga waves her other hand carelessly. “That was just show, really,” she says. “So that nobody starts suspecting our star double-agent. But no, really, I’ll need a looot more blood than that silly little cut for what I’ve gotta do!”

Uraraka eyes her distrustfully for a moment. “What’s your Quirk again?” she asks.

Toga thinks it must be kinda suck to be a double-agent. Uraraka is awfully dependent on whatever information they give her -- but then again, the risk goes both ways. “Blood Transformation,” she says.

Uraraka cringes a little at that. “It’s not a job I can do myself?”

“Nope!” Toga says. “We need to make sure you stay our sweet, well-trusted Hero-in-Training!”

Uraraka sighs, twisting the hand in Toga’s to lay her forearm flat on the table. “Do your worst,” she says, and it’s a shame that Toga can’t, really. Kurogiri had strong words with her before she had left and Toga isn’t allowed to tear Uraraka up the way she’d love to. Instead, she has to use a syringe and watch Uraraka’s blood drain out all slow and clinical and boring into the blood bags Kurogiri had given her. The only upside is how Uraraka begins wobbling about halfway through, her eyes glazing over from all the blood loss.

By the time Toga finishes, Uraraka can’t seem to do much other than stare at the table in front of her. Toga combs her hands through the soft brown hair absentmindedly, then grabs her by the chin and yanks her face up to give her a big sloppy kiss.

Uraraka makes a quiet noise of denial in the back of her throat, and maybe she tries to yank herself away or push Toga off, but she’s still too delightfully dizzy for her attempts to be any good. Toga giggles when she pulls away, letting Uraraka’s head drop from her hands to rest on the tabletop. If Uraraka had been smart and thought ahead, she would have grabbed some of the crackers and juice that Toga had brought with her, but all the better for Toga that she hadn’t.

“Almost forgot!” Toga says, grabbing the envelope full of cash that Kurogiri had given her from her pocket. “Here’s your monthly check, plus a bonus! Thanks for all your hard work!” She drops it on the table next to Uraraka, who’s glaring up at her with dark eyes and tight lips. Saliva drips down her chin.

Toga waits for a minute, but Uraraka doesn’t say say thanks or anything, which is rude but whatever.

“See ya soon, Uraraka-chan,” she says and shows herself to the door. She texts Kurogiri and steps through the portal that opens in front of her.

Toga thinks she really likes Uraraka. She touches her finger to her lips, then bites on the knuckle.

She wonders if that had been a first kiss, if Uraraka had been saving it for anybody special.
