I have a weakness for well-constructed AUs. Always loved the cyberpunk and science fiction ones and the world just bleeds details in the little things, but the real star is the psychological intricacies of both Hitsugaya and Karin. I could easily see him falling into the path of the Avenger with the way things developed her, for good or ill. Seriously, I don't even care that it doesn't have a happy ending - the characters are true to themselves to the very end.
