Work Text:
Yoongi could feel Jungkook's drool slipping down his chin and landing on his jeans as the boy bent forward, awestruck with the piano. He paid it no mind, continuing to play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata gracefully, the Bunny ears of Kookie's onesie swaying from side to side along with his hands.
Tentatively, as if testing the waters, Kookie put a small, chubby finger forward, pressing down on a random key, to no avail. He tried again, upset at the lack of response, before punching his small fist on the key. The sound of the Middle C resonated throughout the room, followed by Kookie's giggles as he looked up at his father.
Yoongi picked the boy up, turning him so that they were face to face. Kookie shone his two bunny teeth at him, reducing Yoongi to a puddle of goo on the narrow Piano seat.
"Mark my words, young man." He said softly. "You're a piano prodigy."
"Hyung, he literally punched the key."
"Should I, perhaps, tell that to Seokjin, Namjoon?"
.
.
.
"You're right. Kookie's a prodigy."
EXTRA:
That morning:
Yoongi had never thought he would consider mass murder, but here he was.
The staff had been gaping at him since the time he entered the office, boring holes on to his head from every angle possible, till he reached the sanctuary of his studio.
Namjoon was sniggering behind his palm as he entered, and he narrowed his eyes at the man, trying to control his temper; he didn't mind going to jail for killing his brother-in-law, but he did fear the earful he would get from his husband if he even considered such a thing.
"What?" He finally asked, not attempting to hide the animosity in his voice. The other just continued laughing.
"Look in the mirror and ask that question to yourself."
Yoongi moved towards the mirror, observing his figure closely: black cap over his silver hair, a black mask over his mouth, black ripped jeans, and finally, a loose black hoodie over which a hot pink baby carrier was attached, carrying his baby in a soft, baby pink Bunny onesie, the ears of which were tickling his chin.
He turned back to Namjoon, a hand on his hip, and an eyebrow raised in question.
"I don't see what's wrong."
"Hyung, you honestly look like a kidnapper."
