The final battle with Lucifer wasn't supposed to end the way it did, or atleast that's what Castiel was telling himself in his mind when he'd heard the news of what happened to Dean.Okay, first of all let me start off by saying; WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FINALE HOLY SHIT MY HEART IS GONE! I'M EXCITED AND TERRIFIED AT THE SAME TIME BECAUSE THIS IS SOMETHING A LOT OF US HAVE BEEN WAITING TO SEE HAPPEN BUT, WHY LIKE THIS!?!? WRITERS WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO US!?
Ahem, anywho, I wrote this about an hour after tonight's finale aired, so it's still fresh on my mind (if you can't already tell). I'm sure I'm not the only one that noticed the absolute devastation in Castiel's eyes when it showed him in the bunker after the Big event happened, right? To try and calm my mind and nerves down I decided to write this, so I apologize if there are any grammar mistakes or something doesn't make sense. I'm still not over the initial shock of DEAN'S EYES FUCKING GLOWING BLUE! Ahem, anwho, I hope you all enjoy!
