Summary
On the small island of Pigasos in Greece, a town named Elaiónas lays divided by an ancient family feud. The Kapetanidis and Onassis families, though once close friends, have despised each other for generations. Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase are no exception to that rule...until they are.
A shakespearean tragedy turned teen romcom.

OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOD. It is INDESCRIBABLE my overwhelming feelings throughout this chapter. TRULY MARVELLOUSLY INCREDIBLE. I was laughing, crying, flailing in my bed, gasping, sobbing, blushing, biting my nails, kicking my feet, weeping. I really actually do feel like someone is squeezing my heart inside my chest now. I have stayed up all night to read this. It's 5am. I have a major event in the morning, but I really couldn't put this down. The way this whole fic embodies "The rivalry ends here, Wise Girl." 😭😭😭😭
God. I really can't think of a better ending than the inclusion of Athena's memory of Po's last moments. Truly and sincerely, that scene made the whole story. It really wouldn't have felt the same without it. You managed to tie up the family histories and end the generational mystery, resolve Annabeth's emotional distance from her mother, give a sense of affirmation and closure to Percy's amorphous imagining of his father, and advance the theme of love overcoming all one last time within the story. I am astounded by your brilliance in writing that one scene and how much it brought the whole fic together. Brilliant, brilliant writing. I loved reading the whole thing, but this scene was the stand-out as a fellow writer. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing work with us 💙
(As a side note, I was listening to Glee Volume 1 while I read, and I think particularly 'Can't Fight This Feeling', 'Take a Bow', 'Alone', and 'Taking Chances' really suit this story perfectly at variable points in the narrative.)
