This takes place around the time of Retribution, which would be 8 years prior to the year Overwatch is set in. It starts with the Commander meeting his doctor; soon after, everything just spirals downward.
Note: For those who have read through this story so far, I would like to say that I will be updating older chapters. I.e. changing scenarios to better fit the canon, tweaking character dialogue, etc. I began this story a while ago and I believe my grasp on the characters/lore has improved since then, so if you see this story updating with no new chapters, that’s the reason. I will also make a note of what chapters have been updated. Thanks!
