Summary
Karamatsu wakes up in the arms of a man. At first, all he can see is the sky, dark and pretty with winking stars that slowly cloud over with smoke, but then he manages to focus his eyes on the man’s face, a small gasp slipping past his parched lips, rosy colouring turning his now pale skin to a healthier shine.
The sound, despite the loud noises surrounding them (oh, his ears hadn’t picked that up till now), alerts the man to his waking form. He looks down, careful with his steps, and smiles in a way that doesn’t look fake like Karamatsu has grown so used to.
“Hey,” he says loud enough to reach over the sirens and shouting, “it’s okay. You’re okay. I got you out of that mess before it could do too much damage. You’re gonna be alright.”
Karamatsu can’t remember what happened. He had clearly passed out and his memory can’t catch up to the current situation, yet he believes this man.
