Summary
Jeongguk jerks his head to the side in a quick, almost missable, motion as his hand moves hesitantly towards the drink, taking a short moment to brace himself — to smell the whiskey citrus aroma — before swallowing. To no surprise, Jeongguk doesn't like it, his face scrunching up in disgust. Both the bartender and the stranger are snickering as they watch.
"Careful, it's a lil' bitter."
"Thanks for the heads up."
Times like these, Jeongguk wants nothing more but to throw himself away.
"Oh, he speaks." The man seems pleasantly surprised. Jeongguk fidgets uncomfortably under his gaze. "Sarcastically, too. Does he make eye contact as well?"
