This is not that story.
In another time, another place, Midoriya Katsuki and Bakugou Izuku are forced on set paths that society has already paved for them. Izuku is meant to be a great hero with an explosive quirk so unlike his gentle and kind personality, and Quirkless Katsuki was expected to wilt into obscurity as a pinnacle of wasted potential and impossible dreams.
Little did he know that when he was nine years old, Katsuki would meet a skeletal man coughing up blood in a park, and by doing so would prove that with enough effort, even the Quirkless can bend fate.
