In Love With a (Cute) Ghost

Summary:

Jungkook is a soft spoken college student who lives by himself in an apartment near his campus, where its flimsy walls and crumbling structure house a collection of noises. When he wakes up to find a man a little older (and a lot hotter) than him asking for shelter, he prepares for their next few months together. As Jungkook’s quiet life quickly becomes chaotic and filled with paranormal activity, the boy pays no mind as his flatmate seems to be in the center of this trouble. Just what does this man hold in store for Jungkook?

Sighing, he threw his phone onto his nightstand, tucking his hands under the back of his head as he stared at the ceiling, Mona settling down on his lap with a huff. Noises were common in his apartment where pipes would groan and walls folded in on themselves, but what he had heard hadn’t been anything he had heard before.

It was like someone was downstairs in his kitchen opening the fridge and was stumbling around on the creaky boards, the steps awkward and clunky. As soon as he raised his head to squint at his bedroom door that was closed, the noise abruptly stopped. Given that it was pitch black, he shrugged off the feeling of fear, his hair raising on the back of his neck. Mona snuggled closer to the inside of his thigh.

He silently thanked his friends for distracting him for those agonizing eight minutes of his life that he thought he was going to die from a burglar who raided fridges in cheap apartments with his peg leg clunking its way through the rooms.

Shaking his head to rid himself of these intrusive thoughts, he rolled onto his side, successfully moving Mona into a more comfortable position and turning his thoughts from his door to the window that framed the full moon. The moon seemed to hang low in the sky, the lower half hiding behind the city’s skyline and framing the desolate night sky. It gave off an eerie vibe that sent goosebumps up his arms and thoughts of the peg legged thief racing in his mind.

The world did not seem to like Jeon Jungkook today.

But it certainly liked him the next day.

---

When Jungkook awoke to a throbbing headache that throbbed in time with the pounding of a fist against his front door, he wanted to find whoever was banging his door and give them a roundhouse kick to the head to feel his own pain. He glanced over at his digital clock, which read 7:46 AM. Who the actual hell got up that early on a Sunday?

The man groaned and pressed one of his pillows into his face, trying to drown out the merciless banging that didn’t seem to falter. After he listened to the banging continue for another minute, Jungkook dragged himself out of his bed, angrily mussing up his hair  as he opened his bedroom door to stomp his way to the front door.

Jungkook, although he did live in one of the shittiest apartment complexes in the city, had a two story apartment, complete with a fully operational (occasionally dysfunctional) kitchen set downstairs that hid the stairs up to his room in a corner right behind one of the kitchen counters. The kitchen itself opened up to a small living room with a couch and a coffee table in front of a small TV that was rarely used save for gaming, and the bathroom door jutted out near the front door that was still insistently being banged upon.

Just as Jungkook reached to grab the door knob, the knocking came to abrupt halt.

Jungkook, still dressed in his plaid pajama bottoms that were lopsided on his hips and a raggedy old t-shirt with the logo faded on it, precariously went to open the door. Whoever had been knocking had clearly meant to say something, so he had thought the person stopped before their knuckles got bloody from knocking so damn hard.

Opening the creaking door, he peered out to see who had been knocking. Glancing around the apartment hallway that lead to the other tenants' rooms, he took notice that no one's doors had been opened, as if they had, he would've heard it. But he noticed that there was no one in sight lounging around in the hallway. Jungkook's apartment was over ten doors away from the exit of the building, and the young man himself couldn't sprint down the hallway that fast to exit, even if he was running late for class.

Mussing up his hair once again, Jungkook grumbled as he closed his door, confused by the end of the knocking and the nonexistent knocker that had supposedly sprinted down the hallway in the blink of an eye. It could've been a kid playing a prank on him, Jungkook tried to reason with himself. Maybe they were like the ding-dong-ditchers he had been when he was in middle school, screwing with people just to get a kick out of it.

Feeling rather annoyed, Jungkook plopped himself onto his couch with a huff, too tired to walk back upstairs to his bed. He chose to flip through the channels on his shabby TV, telemarketers and cheesy dramas doing little to ease his annoyance. "Fucking brats…” He muttered to himself, trying to think if any of his neighbors had children of their own that would pull this prank. Feeling himself get lost in the mixing voices of the actors, he let his eyes drift shut, lulling himself back to sleep.

But then the knocking started back up.

It had been soft, much like the sound of rain against a windowsill, so much so that Jungkook hadn't noticed it over the drawl of the TV. It began picking up in speed and intensity very quickly though, startling Jungkook to the point of rolling off his couch. Newly invigorated with fury and fear rushing through his veins, Jungkook leapt to his feet, storming to his door.

"Alright, you fucking brats, I've had enough of this. What the hell do you want?" Jungkook demanded, swinging his door open with a flourish, and he-

He came face to face with a man.

Before Jungkook could process who he saw, the man collapsed to the ground in a heap with a groan. Jungkook yelped and backed away from his wide open door, panicking at the man in dark clothing that laid halfway in his apartment. Flustered, Jungkook glanced around the hallway for the second time that day, and when he deemed it empty, grabbed the man's forearms and began tugging him into the living room. When the man slid into the room with another low grunt, Jungkook hurriedly shut his door and began assessing the situation.

There was a man, likely unconscious, on his floor. It was barely 8 in the morning, and as Jungkook rushed upstairs to get his phone to call 911, he remembered he left on his phone a majority of the night and it was currently dead.

He had an unknown man in his house. Passed out. On his floor.

Shit.

Jungkook raced back downstairs, shooing Mona back upstairs as she followed him back down. "Go back upstairs, sweetheart, Kookie has to deal with a strange man in the house and I don't want you pissing on him. Please ," he half muttered to the dog, half to himself, and gave Mona's rump a light shove with his foot to get her back up the stairs.

Sighing, Jungkook decided it probably wasn't a good idea to have a "guest" on the floor of his apartment, so he gingerly attempted to pick the man up, and to his delight, was pleasantly light. Placing the man on the couch, Jungkook sat down next to the couch and leaned on it, letting out another sigh at having to lift the man.

Seeing as his face was close to the end of the couch the man's head was, Jungkook took it as his opportunity to look at the man closely after the incident.

He had a complexion leaning on the paler end of the spectrum, thick black lashes along with a thick mop of black hair that curled in on itself at the ends, and lips that looked like they were delicate slices of a peach. He even smelled faintly like the fruit...

Shaking his head once more, Jungkook settled back on the couch, forcing his eyelids to stay open in case the stranger was to wake up and somehow steal his stuff. It's not like he could've slept in the first place, the adrenaline still pumping in his veins from fear and questions flooding his mind.

Who exactly was this man? Why hadn't he been in the hallway after the knocking stopped earlier? Was he the one who played the prank? Why specifically Jungkook’s apartment? Jungkook found himself subconsciously biting his nails. He spared another glance towards the man, observing his grey hoodie encompassing his torso, and torn blue pants that met with a pair of black combat boots. They seemed clean, if not in decent condition, which confused Jungkook even further. Why didn't he just go home?

A small noise left the man's mouth, freezing Jungkook in place as the man shifted in his sleep. Once the man's breathing became even once more, Jungkook let out a breath he didn't know he was holding and felt his shoulders relax.

Getting back up to get himself some water, Jungkook decided if the stranger was to wake up at any given moment, it wouldn't be very smart to greet him in his pajamas. Rushing back upstairs (and nearly spilling his water on the way up), Jungkook tugged on a red plaid shirt and a dark blue pair of jeans with a grey beanie to compliment the look and his hair. Chugging the water before rushing back downstairs, Jungkook took a deep breath before rounding the corner to his living room.

And the man was upright. Upright, conscious, as far as Jungkook could tell, and staring right at Jungkook. Looking at him, the hoodie was nearly swallowing the man’s entire figure, his bangs long enough to nearly conceal a majority of his coffee colored eyes, yet he seemed intimidating, be it from his contrasting skin tone and clothes, Jungkook wasn’t sure.

“Ah… Good Morning,” Jungkook said, shifting underneath the heavy gaze of the man in front of him.

“Morning,” the man replied, scratching the back of his neck with one hand as he covered his mouth with the other to conceal a large yawn. His voice seemed scratchy and raspy, throwing Jungkook off guard with the casual reply.

“Are you… okay? I mean, you were passed out on my doorstep, so,” Jungkook awkwardly laughed, imitating the man in scratching the back of his neck, but this was more of a nervous tic.

“I wanted to ask to live with you.”

Jungkook was taken aback.

“What? I, uh, think I heard-”

“I want to live with you,” the man said calmly, rising from the sitting position he was in on the couch and striding towards Jungkook. “You cool with that?”

Jungkook began sputtering, absolutely confused given the situation. “S-sir, I think you have the wrong person. We don’t even know each other! I can’t just take you in,” Jungkook stammered, slowly backing away from the oncoming stranger. Said man cocked his head, his serious gaze never changing. He began to inch closer to Jungkook, coffee eyes becoming seemingly black voids.

"I said ," the man enunciated, taking a step with each syllable he spoke. "I. Want. To. Live. With. You." Jungkook had unknowingly pressed himself up against the kitchen wall, yelping when he felt his back hit the wall and the man's hand caging Jungkook under him as it rested to the right of his head as he towered over the cowering student.

Jungkook felt his cheeks alight with embarrassment, refraining from looking at the limb cornering him. He could smell a mix of cigarette smoke and something sour on the man's pallet as he leaned in towards the boy. "And why should I let you?" Jungkook countered, suddenly gaining confidence as he hoped his gulp wasn't as audible to the stranger as it was to him. "I don't even know your name."

"Min Yoongi. Now you know me," the cocky stranger said, a sly smile growing on his lips as he continued to hover over Jungkook. "I won't do anything to you, kid. I just need to stay here for a few days," he said, pulling back from Jungkook as he turned on his heel to lay back down on the couch with a flourish. Jungkook took a deep breath and forced his legs to keep him upright.

"Fine, Mr. Min, but you don't have to be such a dick about it," Jungkook growled, brushing the invisible dust from his clothing as he tried to hide the blush on his cheeks. The man, Yoongi, waved a dismissive hand at Jungkook.

“If it works, I’ll do it kid. Sorry to bug you, go back to sleep.”

Jungkook, being slightly delirious and still half asleep from when he was so rudely woken up from his catnap, decided he would go back to sleep, no thanks to the suggestion coming from the man —Yoongi—on the couch. He proceeded to stumble up the stairs to his room, Mona circling around his feet with small yips.

He felt himself fall into a deep slumber as his head hit the pillow.

---

Waking up a few hours later, Jungkook blearily rubbed his eyes as he sat up in his bed. He let out a mighty groan as he stretched, recalling the events of what had happened a few hours prior. As realization dawned upon him that there was an unknown man in the house and he had slept like a brick , Jungkook leapt out of bed, barreling down his stairs with Mona trailing at his heels.

As he rounded the corner to the kitchen entrance, Jungkook was startled to see…

Nothing.

Yoongi was nowhere in sight; no clunky black boots laying on the floor next to the couch, no scuffs on the floor, absolutely nothing. Jungkook balked at the sight of the empty room, because where in the world would that man go that was in the confines of the house?

Jungkook was absolutely dumbfounded as he pad across the room to only throw himself on the couch with his face buried in the cushions out of rage and exhaustion. Was this all just a dream? Had the man even been real? Jungkook’s jeans that hugged his legs and his plaid red shirt begged to differ. Would Min Yoongi have left him? He certainly could have, but why would he when he was so straightforward about staying earlier? What if he only wanted to come into Jungkook’s apartment to steal something ?

Jungkook leapt up from the couch, scuttering over to his bathroom, grasping the door frame as he frantically pulled empty shampoo bottles and cleaning products from his sink’s cabinet. He couldn’t have found his secret stash of money and loose change on the bottom shelf that Jungkook had kept in there, right?

“Whatcha up to, Buttercup?”

“Fuck!” Jungkook exclaimed as he flinched from the deep voice coming from behind him, successfully smacking his head on the top shelf of the cabinet. Hissing and cradling his injured scalp, Jungkook turned enough from his crouched position to see Yoongi hovering over him, a smirk painting his lips.

“Morning to you too, Sunshine,” Yoongi said, leaning back against the door frame.

“Where the hell were you? You weren’t asleep on the couch, so I thought you left,” Jungkook scolded, standing upright. To his surprise, he practically towered over the other man, who was still acting nonchalantly.

Yoongi pointed behind him, and as Jungkook looked at where he was pointing, he saw a bowl of cereal sitting on the kitchen counter, but it left Jungkook confused: he hadn’t seen Yoongi or the cereal there when he stumbled into the room. He had probably been too worried and probably wasn’t, he concluded.

Jungkook mussed up his hair for what seemed like the 100th time that day. “Alright, in the meantime, I wanna talk about you living with me.” He stumbled past Yoongi to sit on the couch yet again. The other man was quick to follow suit and returned to his bowl of cereal while leaning against the counter.

“First thing’s first,” Jungkook said, waggling his index finger in Yoongi’s direction. “Give me your name, age, and what you do for a living.”

Yoongi raised an eyebrow at Jungkook, taking a spoonful of cereal into his mouth. “Min Yoongi, age 24, I’m a newspaper editor. How ‘bout you, kid? You haven’t given me a lick of information since I came here.” Yoongi retorted, boot clad foot tapping against the hardwood floor.

Jungkook could feel himself heating up from embarrassment. Had he seriously forgotten to introduce himself? “Uh, Jeon Jungkook, 21, I’m a student at the nearby uni and a part time waiter at Felicity’s Diner down the street. Anyways, I wanted to talk about you paying rent,” Jungkook mused, leaning forward in his seat to lean his arms on his knees. He gave Yoongi another once over, taking in his ruffled hair with various curls poking up, his black sweatshirt rumpled and hitched up enough to see a white shirt peek from underneath. Jungkook quickly averted his eyes, praying to God Yoongi hadn’t seen him eyeballing him.

Yoongi picked up the conversation with no problem. “I got it covered, Kook. Don’t worry, I’m used to this,” Yoongi muttered, stuffing his mouth with another spoonful of cereal.

Jungkook, confused by Yoongi’s words, awkwardly continued to speak his mind. “Alright… well, why did you choose me? I-I mean, to live with. Why’d you choose to live with me?” Jungkook stuttered. Yoongi once again raised an eyebrow at Jungkook.

“I heard you struggled financially,” Yoongi said, but as he opened his mouth to continue his sentence, a couple that had been talking in hushed tones in the apartment next door began yelling about a Sanha person. With the yelling came a bang on the wall, and one of the flimsiest shelves on that wall shifted out of place, throwing several Iron Man figurines and souvenirs onto the floor.

“... You’re not wrong there, Yoongi-hyung. But, what happened? Since you passed out at my door when you were looking for me,” Jungkook continued, glancing sadly as Iron Man’s head came rolling towards him. He kicked it to the side along with the mental note to clean up later and complain to the landlord.

Yoongi sighed, putting down his bowl to pinch at the bridge of his nose. “I’m a bit narcoleptic, to say the least, but I was also exhausted to the point of passing out right in front of you. I’m sorry ‘bout that, kid.”

Jungkook nodded, pretending as if he understood Yoongi’s trifles, when he did, in fact, not. “So then, it wasn’t you who knocked on my door?”

“I got nervous to the point of not knocking, but that wasn’t me,” Yoongi responded, gesturing to the coffee table in front of Jungkook. Jungkook suddenly remembered that as he was dragging Yoongi into his house, there was a trail of mail that was following behind the unconscious man. Jungkook began to rise from the couch, but Yoongi stopped him in the spot. “I put it right on the table, don’t worry kiddo.”

Jungkook let out a sigh of relief, his scrambled brain finally settling down after waking up in a panic. Had it not been for Yoongi, it may have been less chaotic, but would he have been as organized and less scatterbrained as he was right now? “Thank you, I mean it. Let’s get along, alright?” Jungkook rose from the couch, holding out his hand to the older man in front of him.

“Yeah, let’s.” Yoongi took his hand and shook it.

His hand was freezing cold.

---

Yoongi was an interesting roommate, to say the least.

Over the next 4 months the boys roomed together, Jungkook never so much as heard him when he wandered around the apartment, but when he talked, it would go on for days, criticizing how Jungkook put a table together or the state of the pile of dishes in the sink that grew with each passing day. The student saw Yoongi as a cat of sorts, silent in his steps yet obnoxious when he opened his mouth.

But it was charming in a way to Jungkook. He adored the way Yoongi curled in on himself when he slept on the blow up mattress behind the couch, how his nose crinkled when he let himself laugh at a joke, Jungkook even liked that Yoongi couldn’t stand any sweetener in his coffee but hoarded sweets by the handful.

One peculiarity about Yoongi was that he never complained about the temperature in or out of the house. While Jungkook was an immobile puddle of a human being fanning himself on the floor of the living room, Yoongi still went around wearing his infamous black sweatshirt. Just looking at him made Jungkook hotter in more ways than one.

One day, it got to the best of him while Yoongi was perched on the couch reading a book by Becky Albertalli, and Jungkook snapped. “Yoongi-hyung, why, for the love of God, do you not take that damn sweatshirt off? I’m over here dying of heat and you’re just waltzing around, going ‘I’m Min Yoongi, I’m always cold!’” Jungkook mockingly said, raising one hand above his head from where he laid on the floor, moving it in time with his impression of Yoongi. He let his arm fall back to his side when he was done, propping himself up with his other arm as he turned to look at Yoongi.

Once again, although Jungkook was clad in a pair of gym shorts and a pale yellow sleeveless shirt, Yoongi was in that sweatshirt and a pair of red sweatpants. Jungkook felt a wave of heat hit his body and he groaned, flipping onto his stomach and sighing as the cool floor met his hot skin.

Yoongi gave him a pointed look, returning to his book. “I’m sorry I don’t get hot like you do, Jungkook. I’m always cold, and it’s sorta annoying to me too.” Yoongi mused, oblivious to Jungkook beginning to get up from the floor.

“I’ll just…” Jungkook muttered, sneaking up behind Yoongi, his arms outstretched and prepared to initiate his master plan. “Make you warm!” Jungkook practically threw himself at Yoongi’s back, bringing him into a bone crushing back hug from behind the couch.

Yoongi sputtered, dropping his book and grasping at Jungkook’s arms. Once again, his hands were frigid on Jungkook’s skin. “Jungkook, what the fu-!” Yoongi was struggling against the hold, his fingernails digging into Jungkook’s forearms. “Let the fuck go !”

Yoongi continued to spout curses and flailed in Jungkook’s arms until subsequently giving up. Jungkook was able to hold onto the smaller man, laughing as Yoongi pouted and grumbled under his breath.

Even through his clothing, Jungkook could tell Yoongi was freezing, but that only gave him the incentive to hold onto the man tighter. “You really are cold, hyung,” Jungkook muttered, placing his head on Yoongi’s shoulder. Yoongi huffed an ‘I told you so’ and struggled to pick up his book with Jungkook encompassing his arms.

Jungkook didn’t leave his side for the next 3 hours.

---

In late August, Jungkook was fast asleep, Mona curled up on the foot of his bed, and there was a gentle breeze coming from the window Jungkook had pried open. The young man was dreaming.

The dream was about a shadowy figure who was laughing, not at him, but with him as they sat under a cloudless sky surrounded by a field full of flowers. They intertwined their hands together, Jungkook bringing their connected hands up to his lips to kiss the other person’s knuckles. They giggled and rolled onto their side to put their face closer to Jungkook’s. The shadow fell away from the person’s face, and Jungkook felt his heart skip a beat when he saw.

It was Yoongi.

Yoongi was grinning, his cheeks a light shade of pink as he laughed at the tingles coming from his knuckles with each kiss Jungkook placed on them. His eyes were swimming with something Jungkook wasn’t sure of, but he couldn’t stop himself from continuing to kiss their hands.

Their hands were warm together.

Jungkook looked into Yoongi’s eyes, and Yoongi stopped giggling. He closed his eyes and rolled onto his back, Jungkook taking the sign and crawling over Yoongi’s body, his face inching closer to Yoongi’s.

“Jungkook,” Yoongi whispered, and Jungkook felt a grin creep onto his face.

“Yes, hyung?”

“Kiss me, please.” Jungkook felt something swirl in his stomach and his pulse sped up.

“Of course.”

Even their lips were warm together.

Then, the semi-conscious part of Jungkook’s brain woke up and panicked. A loud banging had been heard, and Jungkook felt Yoongi’s heat drift away from his own body. Jungkook woke up with a start, feeling floaty and somewhat confused. What was that dream? And what was that noise?

Stumbling down the stairway with Mona by his side as they yawned in sync, Jungkook looked for the source of the noise. Yoongi had probably gotten up to use the bathroom and crashed into the coffee table, resulting in him sprawled across the floor in a deep sleep (Jungkook had seen that happen before).

Then Jungkook was hit with the fear of the peg legged burglar that he had thought of so many months ago. What if he was here and wanted to steal something? Jungkook felt his blood run cold as he heard a tell tale thunk, thunk, thunk noise.

Shit, Yoongi was downstairs with Mr. Peg Leg.

Jungkook proceed to sneak back up to his bedroom to grab a guitar he had kept and used in his spare time. Wielding the weapon in his right hand and carrying Mona in his left, he snuck back down the stairs, ready to toss Mona at the perpetrator and whack them with his guitar.

But, there was no perpetrator. There was no one. But, there was something.

Dropping Mona and his guitar, Jungkook stood in amazement as his apartment had unseemingly come to life in a matter of minutes. The cabinets in his kitchen were opening and closing with a horrific clunking noise, the sink was turning on and off, and even some of his video game cases were floating in the air. “Holy. Shit.” Was all Jungkook could choke out as Mona yipped and whined at the chaos.

With sudden precision, everything that was out of place froze, and Jungkook could hear a voice with resounding clarity declare, “Oh fuck,” and everything floated back into their respective places. Mona was quick to leap back up the stairs, and Jungkook jumped when he heard a crash come from the bathroom. Grabbing his guitar once more, Jungkook snuck to the bathroom door, which was closed and had a light on. Taking a deep breath, Jungkook steeled himself and threw the door open with a shriek (totally not from himself).

Yoongi was ass-first in the tub, the shower curtain curled around him as he was struggling to get out of the bath. He was decked out in a spare sleep shirt jungkook had and red plaid pajama bottoms, and he looked like he had just gotten out of bed. He had clearly fallen in, but Jungkook was still on edge, gripping his guitar even tighter. Yoongi saw him and groaned, stopping his ministrations to limply put his arms in the air.

“Help me out, Kook? I heard a noise and I fell,” Yoongi whined, kicking his feet uselessly as Jungkook continued to stare at him. “What’s up? I’m stuck, and you look like you saw a ghost.”

“T-There w-was a g-g-ghost,” Jungkook whimpered, pointing weakly towards the direction of the kitchen. Yoongi huffed as he put his arms down by his side.

“Bullshit. The only thing creepy is how unclean your apartment is. Now help me out ,” Yoongi cried, kicking his feet harder, and only managing to get him that much more stuck. Jungkook took in yet another deep breath and finally tugged Yoongi out of the bath with a satisfying pop! as he did so.

The two went into the living room together, Jungkook still confused out of his mind as he paced the room and Yoongi heating up a kettle of water to make coffee. Yoongi waved a spoon in the air as he beckoned for Jungkook. “So, spill the beans. The hell did you see?”

Jungkook sputtered, “I-I swear I saw t-the cabinets opening and closing on their own, a-and the sink, a-and-” Jungkook felt his chest tighten and he fell onto the couch, clutching his head in confusion. What the actual fuck had happened?

Yoongi sat down by Jungkook’s side, holding a cup of black coffee in his hands. He placed one hand on Jungkook’s back and rubbed soothingly as Jungkook began weeping in his hands. “I’m sorry about that Kook. I really am. You should head back to sleep, we can talk more in the morning,” Yoongi said, sipping his cup of coffee nonchalantly. Jungkook could feel the cold of Yoongi’s hands through his shirt.

“Okay. Can I —um, can I get a hug?” Jungkook whispered, wiping the unforgiving tears from his cheeks as he felt more heat rise in his chest. He felt like shit, was scared shitless, and couldn’t handle much more shit. Jungkook hadn’t felt this embarrassed with Yoongi for a while, and alongside the dream, Jungkook was a blubbering mess of putty in Yoongi’s hands.

“Uh, sure kid,” Yoongi replied, although a bit more hesitant than Jungkook would’ve liked, yet it doesn’t deter him. Yoongi wrapped his arms around Jungkook and tugged him over to his side of the couch, pulling him into an embrace. Yoongi cradled Jungkook’s head, petting the top of his gently while Jungkook continued to sob.

He wasn't warm like he was in the dream.

Sniffling, Jungkook released himself from Yoongi, and gave him a smile he hoped didn’t come off as too sad. “Thanks, I feel a bit better,” Jungkook said, and Yoongi gave an apologetic smile. “G’night.” Grabbing his guitar off the bathroom floor, Jungkook trudged up back to his bedroom, giving Yoongi a small wave as he went.

Back in his room, Jungkook flung himself onto his bed, feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. He grabbed his phone off his nightstand and opened up a new text group with his friends.

Notes:

Aaaaaaah ;w; I loved this story and I rushed a bit at the end but I want to continue this in the future. It was lovely to work with the YoonKook Big Bang group on Tumblr (https://yoonkookbigbang.tumblr.com/) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/YoonkookBigBang?lang=en) and my amazing artist Kou Hanbyeol (https://twitter.com/kouhanbyeol?lang=en), along with my sweet beta Dani (http://pjmsbooty.tumblr.com/)

Comments and kudos are always appreciated, and keep your eyes open for more possible spin-offs in the future!

Shine on, my stars. -Dawn
