Takashi Shirogane is an officer of the Garrison who owns one Pet and is seeking out another. What he discovers is a program that is just a face for something a lot more dark and predatory than he ever imagined. With the help of others, he seeks to bring the horrific practices to light, but it's going to be a lot more difficult than he could have thought, especially when he finds himself on the frontlines.
