Juniper tries not to stare, but her eyes just keep drifting back to him. Just who is this man, dressed in red with these wonderfully spiky bits of hair and a smile on his face, stood next to Athena? She isn’t a person who believes in love at first sight, but this man is just… he’s so handsome.
She can’t drop her professional exterior, not when she is student council president on the day of the school festival, but it is still hard to ignore him.
She soon learns that his name is Apollo Justice, and he works at the same law agency as Athena. So this means they might be in court together one day.
This is so embarrassing, almost blushing as she looks at this complete stranger, wondering why she finds him so attractive. She’s never felt like this before about someone, especially a stranger.
Things change when the mock trial is interrupted with horrible news, news that Professor Courte has been murdered. And as everyone panics and Juniper tries desperately to stay calm and in control, Athena and Apollo look just as concerned. But then things get even worse when that detective comes over and arrests Juniper.
But… but even as she is led away, Athena promises to defend her. They haven’t spoken in years, but her friend wants to defend her. And even though they have never met, Apollo wants to help.
At the end of the case, Juniper is found not guilty. Athena hugs her and she smiles at Apollo, so grateful for their help. And even though he is still basically a stranger, Juniper knows she is totally in love with Apollo Justice.
She doesn’t know if he loves her back, but she doesn’t care. She just thinks he is such a wonderful person.
