Work Text:

I can’t quite contain or explain my evil ways

Or explain why I’m not sane

All I can say is this is your warning

“Your scar is really pretty”, Izuku said for the umpteenth time since they arrive at the park, leaving ghost kisses on Shouto’s face with special treatment on his scar.

They are now sitting under a large tree on the farthest side of the park. Izuku is in an oversize dark green hoodie and same shade of green sweatpants, he’s wearing a make-up contouring his real face and a bonnet to cover his messy green hair. As for Shouto, he’s wearing a red and green flannel shirt with ripped dark jeans. He’s also wearing a blonde wig and oversize sunglasses to cover his distinguishable features. He planned to also wear make-up to cover his scar, but he knows that Izuku loves it, so instead picked up a wig that can easily obscure it from the public.

But why put so much effort on disguises you ask?

Well, Shouto has two answers for that.

One, he’s currently the number 10 hero in Japan, making him basically a celebrity.

And two, Izuku is a wanted villain internationally.

If you are thinking about some Romeo and Juliet story here. You are certainly not wrong.

Though, their relationship doesn’t start with that true love, destiny, soulmate bullshit. All this shitshow started when Izuku first laid his eyes on Shouto’s scar. Izuku, though Japanese of origin, was a villain previously based in America. Hailed as one of the most wanted villains of that continent and was just in Japan for a vacation.

The villain obsessed too much on his scar, so he constantly causes destruction everywhere, to create a chance to meet with the pro hero and a chance to touch the object of his obsession.

Shouto, as strong as he is, prevented the villain on doing so. But he can’t go on for too long. The psychopathic villain is too unpredictable, too smart and too obsessed for his liking.

The first time the villain touched his scar, Shouto was sleeping. He woke up as soft touches caress his face with special treatment on his scar. How on Earth did he find his address? And how did he come to his room without alarming dozens of pro heroes that also reside on the same dormitory?

As the villain touched his scar, all Shouto can see was the manic smile and half-lidded eyes, as if though he’s getting off by just touching it.

“Your scar is really pretty Shouto, and it’s pleasurable to touch too.” The villain said eerily. Moaning praises as he continued to delicately caress the hero’s face.

It took all Shouto’s will power and adrenaline to produce the largest ice and fire he can create. First, to ward off the villain; second, to shake of the undesirable pleasure he felt when the villain caressed and praised his scar. The thing Shouto hates the most.

That attack destroyed the dorm completely. Luckily, all the occupants of the building were pro heroes, so they were much more capable of saving themselves.

As per investigation, it appears that the villain with multiple quirk on his arsenal has, to their absolute annoyance, a quirk that nullifies all electronic security measures with in a given range. It was still unclear though if the villain survived Shouto’s attack. Shouto plead guilty for ignorantly wishing the villain died for good. One less problem for him.

But the world hates Shouto. So much.

Shouto sat on a park bench. Spending the afternoon of his day-off enjoying the mundane things his pro hero career denied him. He was enjoying his yogurt when someone sat next to him. The dark aura the stranger gives off told Shouto who he was.

“Why are you here?” the annoyed pro hero asked. “Were you not satisfied by the bullshit you pulled at the dorms?” he barked. He’s super done with the villain, with the world, with life, ruining his most awaited day-off after weeks of exhausting patrols.

The villain just laughed in reply like they were some old friends exchanging some lame jokes.

His friends say that indifference was Shouto’s strongest suit but sitting beside this villain drew out so many unwanted feelings inside him. So he quickly faced the person beside him setting for an attack.

But he was the one being attacked instead. By a kiss.

The pro hero froze in place. His gears working frantically, processing what was happening. When the villain realized it, he broke the one-sided kiss and smiled at him brightly. If the hero didn’t know better, he will never mistaken this man in front of him as a villain.

“Marry me Shouto and let’s leave this country”, the villain proposed.

WHAT?

Shaken by the sudden proposal, Shouto didn’t realized that he had incinerated the poor bench and frozen the grass within the 10-meter radius. The police came after a few minutes, the pro hero was still frozen in place, all alone, with the menacing but cute (really, cute?) laugh of the villain still ringing in his ears. It took a hard slap from Katsuki to wake him from the spell. But the encounter kept him awake for a week.

The villain never bothered Shouto again after the proposal. Not directly of course.

He was well aware that someone was stalking him. And the stalker was doing a good job too, every time the hero tries to catch them he was left with dust and nothing else to use against them. And as far is the stalking being harmless, the hero decided to just ignore it. But eventually, after a few months, the stalking stop. And Shouto silently scold himself for feeling lonely about it.

More than a year has passed and Shouto thought he was completely free of the psychopathic villain. Boy, he was never been so wrong.

An international convention for pro heroes was conducted in China. And as one of the promising young heroes of Japan (The Supernova’s as the media call them), Shouto was encouraged (forced) by his superiors to join.

On the last day of the convention, the participants were left to their own devices before going back to their home country. His fellow delegates from Japan opted to explore more of Beijing. They go on their separate ways first agreeing to meet at the park before having a dinner together and head to their hotel for their last night.

And as usual, Shouto decided to just head to the park immediately. He has no interest on exploring the city. In fact, he would rather sleep the day off but knowing Tenya and Ochaco were in Beijing with him as well, they would never let him. He was thankful the two bought his excuse to “explore the city” on his own. He thinks the trick was the promise of souvenirs for them.

Shouto sat on one of the benches of the least crowded part of the park when he felt an impending déjà vu. Someone sat beside him with a too familiar aura and he has half the mind to ran away.

“I thought I totally got rid of you”, Shouto greeted the new comer bitterly. Running away seems childish so he’s just going to face this situation head on and get it over with.

He was expecting the reaction, but he never expected the butterflies that suddenly occupied his stomach when the familiar man laughed.

“I thought so too, Shouto”, the man said forlornly. “I was so sad when you turned down my proposal. But I really want you so bad, I tried to change myself and quit being a villain. Hoping you will accept me then. But villainy is already itched deep in my system. I was already a villain even before I learned what that word means. So, I left Japan hoping I will eventually got over with my obsession over you. I was doing a good job, really, but seeing your name as one of the participants of that stupid convention, ruined everything I worked hard for.”

The villain tried to say something more when a hand grabbed his chin and a pair of lips was pressed to his. He froze for a second before giving in to the kiss and moved his head to accommodate the hero more. Eventually tongues were added to the equation, and after a few minutes, both reluctantly broke off the heated kiss to gasp some air.

“Fuck”, Shouto said after inhaling enough air. That kiss was stupid. He was a pro hero and beside him, the man he just kissed passionately, was a super dangerous villain. The villain just ignored the frown forming on the pro hero’s face and looked over his watch. He smiled smugly and replied, “well, if you really want to, we still got time.”

And that is how Shouto got in this situation. The villain went back to Japan a month after that because he had some “unfinished business” to take care of before going after the pro hero. Shouto on the other hand, made the villain promised that if he can never really leave his rogue nature, at least he will tone down his crimes. It basically means no more killings and no more nationwide commotions, or else Shouto will leave him for good. That threat kept the villain at bay surprisingly. Turning to or being apprehended by the authorities was out of the question already, Izuku was not hailed as one of the top ten most dangerous villain in the world for nothing. He has a reputation to uphold.

Shouto lay, relaxing on the picnic mat, his head pillowing Izuku’s lap when suddenly he heard something exploded from a distance.

“Izuku, what was that?”, Shouto asked his boyfriend slowly, syllable by syllable, so that he won’t miss the promise of something ominous if he gives the wrong answer.

Izuku hand’s faltered while massaging Shouto’s temples. “it’s just a balloon, babe.” He answered nervously.

“Wrong answer”, Shouto said as he attempted to stand. Izuku immediately hold his head in place. “Okay, so a yakuza faction got a fight with one of Shigaraki’s underlings, it’s just a child fight really, don’t worry”. Izuku assured him.

Shouto’s face contorted, his brows aligning. “Child fights don’t involve gas tanks exploding Izuku.” He called out the lame explanation. “Is this why you invited for a date? So I won’t be able to respond to the scene?”

Izuku tried to defend himself when ice covered his whole body. “Bad boy,” Shouto reprimanded him as he readied himself to sprang into action. “I will punish you later, just wish there’s no casualty today or you will face grave consequences.” Shouto promised as he shot ice to the air to serve as a path and ran towards the commotion.

After Shouto was out of sight, the ice covering Izuku melted. After he dry himself up he managed to let go of the breath he was holding on out of excitement. “Punishment, huh? Kinky.” He grinned slyly.

No, I’ll never get away

I love it anyway

I’ll never stop.

Notes:

i am totally obsessed with villain izuku AUs

Fic canon #1: Izuku was born in a villain family and was raised in America, he never became a childhood friend to Katsuki. And the reason he went to Japan for a vacation is because Shigaraki invited him

Fic canon #2: because Shouto spent a lot of time with Katsuki while they were still in highschool, the obscenities just rubbed off

Fic canon #3: Izuku's quirk like All for One can let him steal quirks but only limited to emitter types and can't give it to anyone but the original owner of the quirk. Rumors say Izuku and All for One are related

i hope you enjoy the fic!!

anytime soon, i will be making a series titled "fics i've written when i should be studiying right now" hahahaha
