Kirishima and Midoriya has had eyes on each other for a while, however, none of them had the courage to ask each other out. Both are too shy and their minds would overload just at the thought of it. Their friends have been trying to push them to do something for months, but they still wouldn’t do it. All the two have manage to do is blush and faint whenever one or the other tries to confess.
All in all, it was driving everyone crazy. Everyone in Class 1-A, except for Kirishima and Midoriya, just want to smash their head against their desks because of how idiotic and clueless the two were. They just wanted to the confess already! Even Bakugou wants them to! Although, he wasn’t that much better because everyone has been trying to get him and Todoroki get together as well. This entire thing is just a nightmare!
It was a rainy day during a Saturday. It’s the one day out of the entire week where they have a day off from school. Kirishima and Midoriya decide to study together in Midoriya’s room. Kirishima would be studying with Bakugou if it weren’t for the fact that he is trying to man himself up to confess to Todoroki. Although it’s been like that for weeks, so it’s nothing new. Besides, Kirishima loves spending time with his crush.
At this point in the day, it’s already getting to nightfall. The rain still continues to pitter and patter gently against the window. The room is silent besides the murmuring of Kirishima trying to understand the subject he’s working on. Midoriya watches Kirishima and adds in comments of what to fix and what shouldn’t be added in.
Midoriya looks out the window to see it’s already nightfall. “Oh. Maybe we should stop for today. It’s getting dark out and it is about time that we should stop. We did make a lot of progress today though!” He leans back against his chair and stretches his arms and back out. “Aaaahhhhh.”
Kirishima nods in agreement. He stares intently at his paper. This is the day where he confesses. Today is the day. If he doesn’t do it, then what kind of man is he? He’s been dodging this around the bush for so long and he isn’t sure he can take it anymore. Today is the day where he confesses his feelings to the adorable boy with freckles that looks like stars. He practices every day in front of the mirror so he just knows that he’s ready now. Hopefully. He takes in a deep breath. “Hey.. Uh… Midoriya. I want to tell you something.”
“Oh really? Me too actually. Well umm.. Yeah I’ve been meaning to say it for a while you know, but I always get all flustered and then I faint, which has happened multiple times already. But umm. Oh sorry sorry. I started to ramble off again.” Midoriya rubs the back of his neck in embarrassment.
Kirishima chuckles, “Nah, dude. It’s fine. I find it cute when you start rambling.”
Midoriya blinks. “Did you just call me cute?”
Kirishima blinks back, “Yeah. And?”
“But you called me cute.”
“And what?”
“You called me cute.”
“Yeah I called you cu- Oh my god I called you cute!”
“You called me cute!”
“I called you cute!”
“Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!”
“Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!”
Red courses through their entire face to the point where they both look like tomatoes.
“I can’t believe I called you cute! I’m so sorry!”
“No no! It’s ok! I just didn’t expect it from you to be honest. I know that we’re close friends and all, but I’ve never heard you say that anyone is cute before. I mean with all of your manliness of course. Besides, everyone calls me plain-looking. How can I compete with the fact that you’re just so handsomeness?”
A moment of silence.
“You just called me handsome.”
“Yeah. I did.”
“Handsome?”
“Yeah I…. I called you handsome!”
“You called me handsome!”
“Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!”
“Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!”
It takes about thirty minutes for either of them to calm down. Midoriya repeats in his head to breathe in and breathe out.
“Ok. Um so. That happened. Wait so. If you called me cute.. Does that mean that you like me?”, Midoriya asks with a light blush.
Kirishima nods, “Y-Yeah. I’ve liked you for a long time to be honest. I was never man enough to tell you despite everyone in the class telling me to confess to you. But wait.. Does that mean that you like me?”
Midoriya quickly nods, “Yeah. I’ve liked you for a long time as well. The entire class has also been trying to get me to confess to you.”
Silence wraps the room again. Neither have no idea what to say next. Both continuously open then close their mouth, wanting to say something.
Kirishima clears his throat, “Well um. Since we both to umm.. Like each other. Would you like to be umm… my boyfriend?”
Midoriya’s eyes widens and very quickly nods, “I would love to be your boyfriend!”
“Alright! I feel so manly now! I got to ask out my crush!” Kirishima pumps his hand into the air with his signature grin.
Midoriya giggles, “So um. What now?”
“Oh right. Umm.. Well.. I guess one thing that couples do is hold hands. Wanna try that?”
“Oh sure!”
Both reach their hands towards one another. By the time their fingers graze each other, both of their faces turn completely red once more. Unlike the last couple times their faces turn red, they faint.
Needless to say, both of them are finally boyfriends. Probably the most sunshine and pure boyfriends in history. Although, they both have a lot of work to do in order to do normal couple things since they keep fainting every time they try to hold hands, kiss, etc.
Either way the entire class is ecstatic because the nightmare is over. Not just for them though, but also for Todoroki and Bakugou because those two are finally together as well.
